There are many penny stocks that are in the mining busi. But does the price of gold effect the pennies like it does in the other groups (nas-s&p-ect.)

PAIM

94g/ton claim in the phillippines

No one else is remotely close.

No other mining co has any claim that could be profitably mined.

PAIM

Stock is currently massive shorted.

ILST.OB
Quess who is on the BOARD??

Virginia Kilpatrick Shehee, former State Senator of Louisiana and current President and CEO of Kilpatrick Life Insurance, joined the Board of Directors of International Star, Inc. effective January 1st, 2005. Mrs. Shehee's years of business and political experience has brought addition strength and energy to the board and contributed to the strategic development of the Company.

How can you tell a Senator is lying?
If their mouth is moving. Hahahaha!
I just watch this one.

Gold happens to be the one thing my pay service two years ago was right about.

Suggested a REIT that flatlined, suggested a South American land play that dropped nearly immediately, and a couple other plays that were middling in returns but nothing stellar.

I finally got out after he suggested buying Yukos stock. That was before the take over, but that was the one that proved to me my own instincts were better than his.

Gold was his only saving grace. Course...I didn't listen to that one either.

The Bigfoot

Jermarksey, if you are new to the game don't play PAIM right now. That is a very high risk stock. Only get into it if you are confident you know what you are doing.

I'd suggest TRGD. Used to be AMRS and focused on oil. Now they have sold off those assets and are concentrating on mining in Mexico. Do your DD and see what you think about it.

Will say this: It is currently trading at over .31 and was under .10 at the beginning of the year. They seem to be having more luck in mining than in oil. RSI is a little high though so it may be pulling back soon.

I am watching, NOT invested, in TRGD.

Thank you,
The Bigfoot

TRGD currently up 25% to .39.Glad sold my LNXGF shares for TRGD.LNXGF has gone down while TRGD has gone up so now their shares are priced about the same.
Still, gold and silver in paper form are not as good as my gold bullion Pandas and Maple Leafs and Philharmonics in my safety deposit boxes.
Something about holding beautiful glittering pure solid gold in one's hands that beats paper or electronic shares.

Here is the reason for the jump in TRGD for those who are interested. After this I think if people want to follow the stock there should be specific forum topic for it.

quote:
Tara Gold Commissions Technical Study to Advance Las Minitas
CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 04/10/06 -- Tara Gold Resources Corp. (OTC: TRGD) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has commissioned an independent technical review and report for the Las Minitas Property portfolio. The review will be carried out by Michael Sandidge, P Geo., a qualified person, as defined under National Instrument 43-101.

Historical information regarding Las Minitas indicates three mineralized zones of interest that contain a potential of 22 million tons of ore grading 20 oz/t silver and 0.08 oz/t gold. Metallurgical testing indicates that recoveries of 90% for both silver and gold may be achievable by cyanidation alone. The full historical report is available at http://www.TaraGoldResources.com.

Mr. Francis Biscan Jr., President of Tara Gold Resources stated, "We are grateful to have formed relationships in Mexico that continue to bring us properties of substantial merit. The Las Minitas project holds the potential for 400 million ounces of silver and 1.7 million ounces of gold. The technical data was taken from historical records and are based on a technical report that was written in 1995, prior to the implementation of NI 43-101. We look forward to receiving a qualified NI-43-101 report, which will also outline a sampling, trenching, and drilling program to advance this property."

The Company will focus its initial efforts on the validation of the previous exploration work that outlined three wide, high-grade, lode-type mineralized bodies: the North, Central, and El Negro zones, with postulated strike lengths of 400, 500, and 700 meters respectively. These three zones are considered to be outstanding precious metal exploration targets.

Cautionary Note- The tonnages, grades, assays, drill intercepts, production figures and other technical data are taken from historical records prior to the implementation of NI 43-101. While the data is believed to have been acquired, processed and disclosed by persons believed to be technically competent, it is unverifiable at present. The data source for the Las Minitas property is largely the 1995 Report by D.B. Perterson. Tara Gold is not treating the historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves as defined in NI 43-101 and the historical estimate should not be relied upon.

About Michael H. Sandidge, P.Geo.- Michael Sandidge is a qualified person, as defined under National Instrument 43-101. He has a Masters degree in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso and has participated in seventeen professional publications and presentations before scientific societies focusing on tectonics, structural geology, metallogenesis, and paleontology. He also has extensive experience in Mexico and is familiar with historical and current work in the region. Michael does not have any relationship with Tara Gold or its affiliates.

Drilling delineated an additional higher-grade resource* of approximately 4.5 million tonnes grading 0.95g Au/t along the same structure. Highlights from the drill program include three holes, all of which ended in "ore" and appear to have intersected a deeper, higher grading zone. These holes include: -- hole L188, located approximately 60 metres on strike from the pit limits, which intersected 15.2 metres grading 2.3g Au/t; -- hole L194, on the next section, intersected 19.8 metres grading 1.8g Au/t; and -- hole L202, approximately 200 metres from the current pit along strike, intersected 7.6 metres grading 3.8g Au/t.

Anyone interested in a Canadian Mining stock. I bought BZRSF (Bell Resources) back in Dec at .33 now at .82. The ground is warming up and mining activity will get going strong soon. Not a recommendation, please do your own DD.

Strong close for TRGD up 35.5% at .42.CMBV is another penny PM mining play I am in and am still holding 5 million free shares of PAIM and think PAIM will surprise quite a few people who listened to the chorus of bashers.
GG for gold and SLW for silver are my big board holds.

TRGD:

They dont have any gold. 1g/ton is worthless. The mine they talk about was mined out a long time ago.

But, none of that matters since its only a shell anyway.

I'd say any gold news is good news.

FMNJ was good to me. It's at a different pps now than where I like to put money, but the silver news is what seemed to push it over the top. The latest broadband pr didn't hurt either. I watched and waited till I got in at .0012 a while back. Woulda coulda shoulda held on a little longer, but sweet little gain none the less.

I got a little in a pos, r/s company, AUGC at .0015. They ran pretty good on gold news lately, from their last pr they're JV Windham Resources, Inc. a company with rights to "The Hill of Gold Property"...

"The Hill of Gold Property consists of 25 lode mining claims. Previous operators defined a preliminary geologic resource of 3.5 million tons averaging 0.031 oz/ton gold, using a 0.02 cutoff."

I hope they prove me wrong but if a POS company like AUGC, cutting shareholders' shares to rubble(haven't got mine, yet LOL), can run like that on gold news, any good gold stock could be the next runner.LOL... imo.

7 of 9,

You push PAIM and then accuse TRGD of being a shell company??? Check your stash man! It's gone bad!

I'll say this, it's oversold and due for a pullback.

Better than a stock with close to a Trillion shares on the market! Can anyone say CMKX?
