China Expert Technology Signed a $41 Million E-Government Contract with Shishi City Government in China 4/4/2006 9:02:39 AM HONG KONG, April 4, 2006 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- China Expert Technology, Inc. ( CXTI ), a company that specializes in providing large scale network infrastructure construction mainly for e-government projects for communities and municipal governments in China, has signed a $41 million e-government contract to implement an e-government system for the Shishi City Government in the Fujian Province, China. The project is expected to be commenced in October 2006 and completed in September 2009.
CXTI will provide the design, development and implementation of the e-government system. The project will help the Shishi City Government to improve the methods of management, increase administrative efficiency and reduce costs of operation so as to form an administrative system featuring standardized behaviors, coordinated operation, high efficiency, fairness and transparency.
