Seriously, I am new to reading the charts, but in the past year this stock has never had anything close to this kind of volume. Can this be anything but a good thing?
I jumped in today, but have to admit a little nervous when I saw multiple threads starting with no real news.
Any insights? I don't know if this is a quick flip stock (forgive me) or another USXP in the making.

CTMum, I believe it's a sqeeze. It may take a few days for the shorters to get out. Might be sooner, but it's just a matter of time. We are waiting on patent to come out, was filed in Nov.

Sorry to double post, but I forgot to ask. If the patent was applied for in Nov. does anyone know what kind of time line until approval?

I read on another board, that the retraction of news meant something brewing. I didn't get it. I'm hoping it's big, but don't understand how you can accidently put out a PR.

an energy-related patent can request expedited consideration by the PTO, i.e., issue in abt 6 months. haven't read up lately, but reasonably something important like water purification might also be eligible. dang!!! i am confused abt this pennsylvania thing with $2.50 on shorts-- what's it mean to US as current holders???? anybody know for sure???

I think most predict at least in the .0010 to .0015 range, but looking at it's history, i think it has potential to double that easily.

can some one explain me why the news is good for the company shares price? I read it but i am not really understand what it means. thanks
Early Bird Messenger, a leading source of public company news, has information this morning that will line the pockets of many investors. According to our sources and our own legal research into this matter, thousands of 504-restricted shares of Pure H2) Bio-Technologies (Pink Sheets: PHBT) are currently being sold in Pennsylvania.
Once again, these shares are all RESTRICTED, presenting a serious dilemma for firms that require $2.50 per share short. Pennsylvania changed the statute VERY RECENTLY and clearing firms and transfer agents are STILL clearing these shares.
According to the law, "The person acquiring the restricted shall agree with the issuer in writing at the time of sale not to resell the restricted securities prior to the expiration of the 12-month holding period." Early Bird has research to confirm that these PHBT shares are still restricted, representing substantial upside for investors who purchase PHBT at a fraction of a penny, prior to the large buy-back projected. Seldom will investors see an opportunity of this magnitude.

Pure H20 Bio-Technologies, Inc. Announces New Filing U.S. Patent Application for Iodine Water Treatment System and Method Business Wire via COMTEX Dec 13, 2004 4:00:00 PM BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec 13, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pure H20 Bio-Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PHBT) announced today it filed a new Patent Application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Washington, D.C. for its Iodine Water Treatment System and Method. Joseph P. Doxey, President of Pure H20 Bio-Technologies, Inc., stated, "the invention relates to an expertly engineered halogen-disinfection water treatment system that controls the release of the disinfectant and its delivery, a method of generating safe potable drinking water." The PHBT point-of-entry water treatment systems provide another layer of protection for individual homes, businesses and healthcare facilities in the event that municipal systems become compromised with chlorine-resistant etiological agents. Historically, the concern has been to deliver the iodine in a manner that does not present a residual in treated potable water supplies. The PHBT technology provides a new water treatment option based on a system designed with both pre-and post-absolute carbon filtration used in combination with direct crystal iodine contact for disinfection. Moreover, the PHBT system is designed not to release detectable residual halogen into the disinfected water supplies. Both the iodine concentration and the contact time can be controlled independently of pH, and have demonstrated laboratory effective kill rates to a level of log 8 against microbial agents, as recent PHBT's test results confirm. Reminder: The CDC makes no recommendation as to the use of the portable filters on the market due to lack of independently verified results of their efficacy. The Company PHBT is a publicly held company specializing in the manufacturing, design and sale of its unique residential, commercial and hospital point-of-use potable water disinfection systems. These systems are specifically designed to work effectively against water-borne pathogens and remove heavy metals and objectionable biomass. I have a small position that I established yesterday. As far as the volume - someone must know something. I think a patent award is on the horizon - that should send this thing flying. BTW, CNES is primed to pop soon.

BOCA RATON, Fla., Nov 07, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Pure H20 Bio-Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:PHBT) announced today it filed a new Provisional Patent Application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Washington, D.C. for Tetrasilvertetraoxide as a Disinfectant Agent for Cryptosporidium.
Pure H20 Bio-Technologies, Inc. engaged Clancy Environmental Consultants, Inc., (CEC) St. Albans, Vermont to perform disinfection studies utilizing TTO as an alternate disinfection technology. Tests on TTO were performed by CEC with progressive reports dated 12-30-04, 3-31-05 and, 7-1-05. The studies concluded TTO, used as a disinfectant, is a superior product that out performs halogens in the process of killing Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts.
Joseph P. Doxey, President of Pure H20 Bio-Technologies, Inc. stated, "Given the fact that the Pure H2O Bio-Technologies water purifier system contains the disinfectant within the system and only releases disinfectant-free potable drinking water, TTO became an excellent candidate for disinfection of Cryptosporidium.
the news continues on that release date.

Art: Sorry, I've no idea. I only know that I would like to see a more updated site from them. http://www.pureh20biotech.com/ seems a little outdated. The "testimonials" link isn't working, and also their latest press releases are from end of 2004.
