Well, I see Dan is at it again. Here are the new TA numbers and a very factual to the point post. Maybe this will explain why billions of shares are going with no pps appreciation.
In short, Dan is getting his.

New TA numbers: More bad news.

Dan sold off more of his restricted, which ended up in the tradable portion of the OS.

He’s repeated this maneuver multiple times since early this year. He puts out a PR showing a decrease in the overall OS but in reality he’s been reducing the restricted and transferring it to the tradable.

Numbers as of:7/10/2006
Tradable: 49,121,232,874
Restricted: 20,533,767,126
Total OS: 69,655,000,000

Numbers as of: 6/19/2006 (Last time I checked with the TA)
Tradable: 47,921,232,874
Restricted: 22,033,767,126
Total OS: 69,955,000,000

RESULTS:
Tradable INCREASED by: 1,200,000,000
Restricted DECREASED by: 1,500,000,000
Total OS DECREASED by: 300,000,000

COMMENTS:
Once again, Dan puts out a PR that makes it look like progress is being made on the OS. However when you look into the details you discover there’s more than meets the eye.

While we had a reduction of 300,000,000 to the overall OS, Dan has managed to sell off another 1.5 billion of his restricted shares, for some unknown purpose.

One theory of what may have transpired: Lets assume Dan sold the 1.5 billion shares for $150,000. It’s possible he may have taken $30,000 of the proceeds to buy back the 300,000,000 shares he PR’d. The remaining $120,000 he kept for purposes unknown.

Does this sound like a guy who has a plan to increase the PPS of SMMW? If you think so, I live in Florida and I think there is still some swamp land available for cheap prices.

You guys are anticipating an audit with surprising figures yet Dan is still dipping into his restricted shares, dumping them into the tradable portion, in effect decreasing your chances for a run on the PPS.

I still hold with Highwayman's theory: Dan reduces his restricted shares to zero, reverse merges and/or reverse splits the stock when it won't affect his portion of the OS anymore. That’s what Astrom taught him to do, isn’t it?

HISTORICAL NUMBERS:

Numbers as of:7/10/2006
Tradable: 49,121,232,874
Restricted: 20,533,767,126
Total OS: 69,655,000,000

Numbers as of: 11/1/2005
Tradable: 33,797,804,897
Restricted: 37,383,768,046
Total OS: 71,181,572,943

RESULTS:
Tradable INCREASED by: 15,323,427,977
Restricted DECREASED by: 16,850,000,920
Total OS DECREASED by: 1,526,572,943

So, since November of 2005, after all the PR's and posturing, Dan has only reduced the overall OS by 1.5 billion. On the other hand he's played around with the restricted and tradable quite a bit. He's managed to reduce his restricted by 16 billion and transfer 15 billion of it to the tradable portion....the part that affects you, the investor.

In my opinion, Dan is doing the opposite of what it takes to raise the PPS of this stock.

Here's the latest P/R.

Summus Works: Company Announces Network Wide Programming and Content Provider for Media Division

Aspen, CO., Jul 12, 2006 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Summus Works, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SMMW) announced that its network of cable television broadcast subsidiaries will receive hours of national interest programming from New Visions Syndication, Inc., the Colorado based television company that also syndicates Summus Works' subsidiary BCTV's half hour adventure documentary series Backcountry TV. In reciprocal agreement with the Company, NVS will provide half hour outdoor oriented programs for Summus Works' media division subsidiaries to broadcast network wide in conjunction with its national RSN provided and locally produced content. The Jeep sponsored programs will include the World Ski & Snowboard Super Pipe Championships and Teton Gravity Research's "Tangerine Dream" among other exciting and pertinent titles carried by NVS.
"We are thrilled with the further symbiosis between our companies and the caliber of content and service that New Visions Syndication continues to provide after decades of first rate operations," said Summus Works Business & Technology Director Nate Pickens.
---------------------------------------
Now, take note of the following statement:

The Company recently announced that through its partnership with New Visions, two BCTV episodes reached a combined 330,000,000 total potential viewing households nationwide.

At first glance, it looks like 330,000,000 potential households is a lot. When you check the US Census Bureau, the US population is only 295,734,134. That's people.
Now, if you read it again, you will see that what the P/R is really saying is 2 shows combined.
OK, so in reality, they only potentialy reach 165,000,000 households, it's just that 2 shows did it, so why not add the 2 together?

Did Dan and company intentionaly do this to mislead? Put a larger figure out there to catch your eye?

I know my opinion, you can make yours.

this is true what u imply but... it cant be even at that due to the fact that the average house hold is made up of three people........so if that were a true statement then there are only about 100 mil households in the U.S..haveing said that.....there are 65 mil empty households or this intire argument is bogas. besides if these #'s are anywere close to correct we all should be seeing the shows soon. due to the fact it will have to be in every city and town in the U.S. unless they have made a deal with derect tv...and i highly doubt that...its not likely many of us will see the shows.

Hotrod,
I completely agree.
I'm glad you pointed out the obvious attempt to mislead investors. I guess you can put anything you want in a P/R.
