ok guys, here's a reminder: Outstanding Shares: 109,671,530 as of 2006-01-20 Estimated Market Cap: 10.418M as of 2006-03-07 (based on Outstanding Shares as of 2006-01-20) and we're all waiting for this to come true: "MONTREAL, Feb 23, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Aurus Corporation. (AURC) announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire the Klyon "Maple" Gold ore deposit located in the territory of Bilibinsk of Chukchi National district in Russia.
"This one has not been easy to lock up due to the amount of large Canadian and US-based multinationals wanting a piece of the Klyon ore deposit," said Mr. Feldbush, Chief Operating Officer of Aurus Corp. "The estimated gold and silver reserves in the Klyon deposit potentially make it our single most prized asset yet with over 1.9 million ounces of gold and 4.9 million ounces of silver and with gold still moving beyond the $550 per ounce and with experts predicting $1000 per ounce, this deposit can become our cash-cow for the next 30 years," further added Mr. Feldbush.
The company expects to sign the acquisition agreement by or before March 10 and release preliminary technical data by the end of March and release complete geological reports by end of April to early May."
the gold alone would make it about $1billion (there's also silver). lets keep our fingers crossed.. we should see some action this month.. and correction about the last post, b/c there's nothing that says the PR will come out the 10th.

As indicated I did reach Mr.Parkin 2day
...all is progressing as anticipated.
First, regarding the new website...it is Complete! It took a bit longer as it had been transferred to a new hosting and design service company as I understand and will be released this coming week for sure
Second, a new IR service is also being negotiated and implemented. And other known capital research companies are also being reviewed for additional supportive presentational services.
Third, the latest acquisition is being finalized and will add the stated significant proven reserves to our totals as indicated...backed by all the necessary geological third-party verifications performed by a Canadian source.
Fourth, the strategy of first securing such significant gold reserves will prove to be as beneficial if not more than just current production for the valuation and PPS appreciation as it gives us a significant advantage in attracting a larger suitable partner for production and growth initiatives.
Fifth, the financials are being worked on and should also include the geological data from our latest acquisition target.
OT: NDOL also will follow next week Mon/Tuesday with a new development to be announced. His partner, the NDOL board President, returns from Russia this weekend.
He reiterated that we won't be disappointed with the results.
He was not hurried to finish the conversation and was wiling to answer as much as possible or allowed. Overall, the conversation went very well

...First, there should be further announcements made this week regarding both NDOL and AURC.
He commented that Midland Baring (handling current IR functions) "jumped the gun" with today’s PR and acknowledged that it indeed should have included more details. His partner just returned from Russia yesterday afternoon and is currently being updated on all ongoing issues, progress and developments. The website information continues to be 'updated' daily and the Company is STILL Having issues with the transfer of the domain/server. He is in current contact with Midland (the original responsible party in contract with Lights Media) to move forward with the mandated release. Same for NDOL (however, 'That' site, not AURC's is 100% complete-past two weeks)...Hopefully Midland will put some pressure on the current/prior web company to perform as requested so shareholders of each company can view the new site/s information immediately thereafter. As indicated prior, a new IR service which I believe will be a welcomed improvement hereby many) is also in the works along with selecting/negotiating services using in-part restricted shares as part of the compensation pkg. He is NOT interested in working with ANY company for just free-trading shares! Regardless of who might be chosen, we all should see an announcement or 'change' in some affiliations very soon

I don't know. From what I hear and based on the assets these guys have, it really makes sense that every mid size and especially large size gold company are eyeing the assets AURC has acquired over the last 6 months. If someone doesn't come in to fund the development of this as a partner, I'm guessing someone may be eyeing it for purchase. As far as the price goes, it sucks to see it go down. But I am satisfied with what I have heard so it doesn't bother me that much. Thoughts??
