Hey everyone, I am just posting this message to let everyone know or remind people that the market is closed on Monday for Presidents day.
Below is the U.S. Stock Market holiday schedule for the year 2006. Unless noted, all exchanges will be closed on these dates:
2006 Market Holidays
New Year's Day (observed) January 2 Martin Luther King, Jr. Day January 16 President's Day February 20 Good Friday April 14 Memorial Day May 29 Independence Day July 4 Labor Day September 4 Thanksgiving Day November 23 Christmas December 25

Usually bearish before a break because people cash out and want to sitting on cash when the market opens again, then usually bullish when the market opens again as people are buying in.

They should ban the market from closing on all holidays, period! The market should also OPEN on ALL Saturdays and Sundays as well as being open 24 hours a day. If 7-11 can be open 24 hours a day, so can the stock market! Someone change their schedule!

if they did this people would drop dead from lack of sleep. i know some people that will not leave thier computer from the time the market opens till it closes.
i can see it now. man dies after 7 days of not sleeping, worrying over his penny stock. lol

I guarantee you, I'd be glued to my laptop forever!!! Or until I hit the 20 Million Dollar Mark.....
