Persia: negativity is warranted. PBLS isn't a joke, but they are trying to fight against the grain. They believe that we shareholders don't understand what will move the price.

The way I continue to look at it is this. Paul will eventually come around to the investors point of view. He has to if he wants those 100 Million shares to be worth more than 3 measly cents. I am certain they have a plan...but for the life of me I don't understand how Best Jets fits in.

The owners of the businesses we are buying have to believe in something because most are taking a small amount of cash and restricted shares. There has to be a reason.

The best thing we could probably do would be to walk away and not look at this stock for about 2 years. We'd come back and either be broke...or very well off. I'm betting on the well off.

f8less...I guess that's a good theory. Someone else also said maybe they had to buy the whole package, but were only interested in the Fuel side of things?

Heck who knows.

Believe it was the fuel according to the radio interview, wanted it integrated with ProGas. So it may have been a whole or nothing package.

they need to do a formal press release to get the word out. Maybe this weekend. Then close on time. The volume is still low and it would increase if the word was getting out.

Vol Average 50-day 6,713,800
Vol Average 200-day 8,583,800

Today 4.6 million

I too think the progas fuel distribution is what they are counting on to grow profits. It is a good idea.

17 million in income puts us over 20 million, if OS stays under a billion this should really run. 100 million in income would be pretty cool.

20 million profit / 900 million OS X 20 PE is .44. 100 million is 5X that or 2.20.

Somehow I think they will complete the buyback before this runs. If it was me I would.

If there is bigger news coming somehow I think it is too good to be true. If this deal has the potential of 2.20 pps what will the big one do?

5$ this year?

I think i'm going back into accumulation mode from flip mode. To me the action of this past week signals a good buy indicator for holding. The price held itself up well telling you there are a lot of comfortable longs in this one still who can wait it out. Good buy in right now IMHO.

Why Best Jets? They are partners with General Electric and overhaul Jet engines.

I work at an aircraft plant and can tell you that replacement parts are a big money maker.

Check out all the fueling centers.

This is a big deal.

From the above best jets link

quote:
Gary said this expansion is not necessarily the last for the company either. He said both boards were informed the project currently works on civilian aircraft but has the potential to reach to the military sector.

"It is highly possibly this will reach to the military," he said. "That could ramp the jobs up to 300."

FAA Certifies New Very Light, Cheap Jet
Thursday July 27, 5:13 pm ET
FAA Certifies New Very Light Jet, a Type of Flying SUV

OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) -- A new fleet of very light jets that could redefine the way Americans travel received preliminary certification Thursday from the Federal Aviation Administration.
It's the first step in getting 2,500 of the planes skyward to help reduce congestion at major airports, Acting Transportation Secretary Maria Cino said.

The FAA granted Eclipse Aviation of Albuquerque, N.M., the certification for the Eclipse 500, a cheaper and faster type of flying SUV, during a ceremony at the Experimental Aircraft Association's 54th annual AirVenture fly-in in Oshkosh.

The federal approval -- meaning most of the aircraft's technical performance and safety issues have been resolved -- allows the company to begin training pilots and continue building the planes, pending final approval, called type certification, Cino said.

"Thousands of new jets like this are going to redefine the way Americans travel, help cut airport congestion and drive economic growth in cities and towns across the country that today only dream of commercial air service," Cino said.

The new light jets, costing less to buy and operate, will be able to affordably fly travelers from thousands of small airports across the county because they need less room to land and take off, giving travelers new options, Cino said.

Very light jets weigh 10,000 pounds or less, feature twin engines and automated cockpits and have room for five or six passengers, aviation experts said.

Eclipse Aviation already has 2,500 orders for its $1.5 million jet, the transportation secretary said.

Vern Raburn, president of Eclipse Aviation, said the company expects to receive the final FAA approval by Aug. 30, allowing its first 50 new jets to be delivered to customers this year.

"We have looked forward to this monumental accomplishment since Eclipse was founded nearly eight years ago," said Raburn, a former Microsoft executive whose venture is being backed by Bill Gates.

Six other very light jets are in the process of being certified by the FAA.

Honda Motor Co. announced this week at AirVenture that it will start accepting orders for its very light jet, the HondaJet, this fall.

The FAA predicts 4,500 of the very light jets in service 10 years from now.

Raburn predicts the new jets will be used as air taxis -- limousines-with-wings that will take off and land at the more than 5,000 small, underused airports in the United States.

Eclipse Aviation has hired 560 new employees in the past year and now employs more than 820 at its Albuquerque headquarters, Cino said.

Billed as the world's largest gathering of recreational aviators, AirVenture, a fly-in and EAA convention at Wittman Regional Airport, attracts more than 10,000 airplanes -- many of them homemade aircraft -- and nearly 250,000 aviation enthusiasts from throughout the world.

Cessna has received FAA approval for its light jet "The Mustang" and production has begun at our plant.

Eclipse was in town this week hiring any who wanted to move to Albq.

Supposedly they have a 2500 plane back log.

AS was just raised to 1.8 billion from 1 billion, so OS is below 1 billion.

I dont know the makeup of the jet deal.

There is enough info to know this is way undervalued.

With 1.8 billion os it would still be worth .25 with current profits.

OVer 2 million oil services
Rock order
Oil wells
17 million profit from the Jet deal.

At least 20 million in profit/1.8 billion X 20 pe = .22 plus a lot of upside from current businesses, and bigger deals in the works, plus oil drilling soon on leases with 500 million estimated reserves.

A value and growth play all rolled into one.

Phoenix Associates Issues Message to Shareholders

PrintE-mailDisable live quotesRSSDigg itDel.icio.usLast Update: 12:36 PM ET Jul 31, 2006

NEW ORLEANS, LA, Jul 31, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) -- Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate (PINKSHEETS: PBLS)( www.pbls.biz) today announced that Paul Alonzo, its President and CEO, issued the following message to the company's shareholders.
MESSAGE TO SHAREHOLDERS
I want to thank all of you for the overwhelming favorable comments that have been e-mailed to me as a response to my radio interview last Thursday. Phoenix will become fully transparent when the independent auditors finish their work. Phoenix has 22 companies and/or registered trade names that it operates under. At least seven of these are being cancelled. Many of these entities have different reporting dates and different states of origination. The job of putting all of these in order is overwhelming with three years of audits (2006 included) for each entity.
Whether good or bad, the news will be released, and as we take each step, Phoenix will become fully transparent. I am not going to predict a date or a time on the release of this information, only that it will be done. In 2001, the company was released from Chapter 11 (reorganization) and did $151,000 in gross revenue. By 2005, the company has changed considerably - - see unaudited consolidated financials for 2005 below. By the time of the final audit for 2006, I believe the company will be annualizing far greater numbers, even after considering the revenues that were lost due to Hurricane Katrina.
As a non-reporting pink sheet company, it is important that we maximize our time and efforts to add assets and income to Phoenix. At the same time we continue to work in a quiet period while we do our work. The reason for the quiet period was re-established Thursday while I was announcing the binding letter of intent to purchase Best Jets, Ltd. and other related companies in my teleconference. While I was finishing the interview, our stockholders began calling Best Jets and asking questions. The Best Jets group of companies had not even told their employees yet. This continuous business interference is outrageous and negatively works against the efforts of Phoenix. The purchase of another company that took someone 15 to 20 years to put together is a very delicate process. This company was their baby and their employees are their corporate family and they have a deep personal responsibility to that family. The time between the binding letter of intent and the closing contract is very critical for these and many other reasons. Stockholder interference during this time frame is ridiculous and works against all of our interests. Phoenix will remain in a quiet period.
Just as a reminder Phoenix has a buy back offer in place that reads as follows:
Phoenix shall repurchase up to one hundred million shares at a price of $0.03 per share of common stock, and all repurchases shall be effected in compliance with Rule 10b-18, promulgated under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Should you wish to participate in this stock repurchase program please:
1. Send your stock certificate via "Certified -- Return Receipt Requested" mail to:
Phoenix Associates Land Syndicate P.O. Box 1358 Covington, Louisiana 70434-1358
2. With your certificate send a letter, in your own words, stating that you are selling the stock back to Phoenix for $0.03 per share and that you request your payment on same within (30) days.
3. Sign the back of your certificate as the seller along with your letter.
4. Phoenix will handle the ensuing paperwork and pay you for your stock within thirty (30) days of the receipt of your letter and your signed certificate.
Phoenix is also pleased to announce that it has hired two directional drilling coordinators which will greatly enhance its drilling efforts and income at Ideal Energy Directional Drilling Inc.
We thank all of you for sticking with Phoenix. We are doing everything we can to enhance shareholder value and to make Phoenix a success story for all Phoenix supporters.

Canceled my buy order and sold the rest. I call BS on how boohoo "hard" it is to get your audit done. We're just supposed to trust this BS?!?!? $165,971,862.00 in revenue and $159,506,760.00 in costs and expenses. Yeah, right. Might as well say $310,567,344,264.00 in revenue and $310,567,344,263.00 in costs and expenses for a grand total $1 in profit. Who's counting? I'll tell you who. Nobody. Whatever.

Different Perspective

I've just finished listening to the interview with Paul. This is the first time I have heard the man's voice. In my opinion that man is as genuine and honest as a person can be. I have found that I can tell more by a person's voice than their eyes. Perhaps this is because I have been a musician for a little over 20 years now.

I also want to say that I believe him when he say's it has been recommended that they keep share structure hidden right now. In fact he offers a perfectly good reason for this. I also believe him when he say's they are well underway on getting the audits done. I also believe that it has take more time then he at first thought.

I believe that he is "building his house" and that when it's done the naysayers will wish they had never sold.

In effect I can say with almost certainty that the man was not telling any conscious lies when he gave that interview. I'm not trying to convince anyone else of my statments. In fact many of you will likely doubt the ability to hear someone lie. For what it's worth I second what Asus say's about Paul Alonzo. The man is genuine and honest.

I would also like to point out a direct quote form the interview.

"I'm a large shareholder and the only way I really make any money is to get the shareprice up" Hum...seems me and a few others have been saying this for a while now.

Paul I'm with you. Take your time and build your house. I sincerly wish I had more money to purchase shares and help fund this growth. I believe you will be succesfull and I am glad I discovered this company when I did.

People you can focus on the negative or you can trust what Paul is trying to do. If you are going to focus on the negative then why not get your certs and send them in? I for one am here for the duration. Paul is no joke and neither is Ron. I think Paul had a good point when he said some of you would be better off investing in MSFT. PBLS is a penny stock that will transform into something much larger. It may take a few more years....I can wait...what about you?

will I'm not trying to convince anyone. People have to make up their own minds. For me it's worth holding. We may very well see sub penny prices again. That's fine. I bought the slice of pie at the price I paid for it. In a year or 2 when the full story unfolds I will have my reward. I can wait. I understand if other can't. I suspect there will be many good opportunities to buy between now and go time. Just my opinion tho.

Good Luck to everyone with whatever they decide to do. I can certainly understand why people would sell. Persia I hope to see you in the future....perhaps you will be able to get back in at a lower prices

I have played various music styles. Early on I mainly did a lot of sing along music...you know Eagles, Neil Young, Jimmy Buffet, etc. Things I could play with my dad at camp fires.

Then I moved into playing the blues for several years. I still love the blues and draw a lot of influence from it.

Now-a-days I mainly do original stuff...more jazzy/jam band style. I'm not playing with anyone right now, but hope to be again in the near future. I one of the corporate america drones that needs to get his butt back out and do a few gigs!

Do you play?

Well the PR today was the reason I wondered if anyone had the D&B report, gives us some unaudited information....

Im not going anywhere, I liked the PR...Still has the buy back and gave some kind of numbers, which werent bad with the assets and NI...

There are some very aggressive investors that are in this stock, and I love it for the DD, but PA sees it differently..I think if we got more details during the deals, this wouldnt be an issue!!

I think we will be gettin a lot of info in Aug!!
