Hello all,

I'm trying to come up with my method to trade. Recently it's been about doing FA, news, and some rumors. I don't feel entirely comfortable relying on what other people feel is going to happen. I like the TA side.

For example, one method I am looking in to is finding stocks that have recently experienced capitulation. Then I'll look at the fibonacci support levels, and lastly look at MA's and previous highs to determine the resitance levels. Then I'll play the bounce.

I've noticed that not many people here are using candlesticks or other indicators like fibonacci numbers. Maybe those that are just aren't posting? Time to speak up.

In the meantime, what method is your favorite for playing the micro pennies? Matt

GTRD was depressed right after the hurricanes hit florida. They have now confirmed that everything is back on line, and they have moved into a new building...

upcoming developments include:
Audit completion and release, as this was delayed by the hurricane
Internet Pay per view TV starting in January, this is an easy one as they already have the infrastructure in place

And the chart is looking ripe for a nice couple hundred % run up! My exit point is between .0375 & .045! Which is less than the value it was trading before the hurricane hit! I may move it up a bit depending on the interest and momentum that it gets!

So then you're much more of a FA with news and some predictions/rumor.

Microcaptrade + filters = [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

When they pop up, a little quick DD if I have not before on a particular stock and then pull the trigger. Nothing fancy, keep it stupid simple.

In the off hours I'll peruse whats interesting and T/A - F/A the puppy and take some notes for when it pops up.

Apply - lather - rinse - repeat....

matto, I doubt that you blindly follow the picks on those sites. What methods do you use to analyze which you'll play?

Are you reading charts? If so, what tools on them are you looking at?

Are you simply reading past news, rumors?

Do you stick to fundamental analysis and believe in the companies current growth itself? Matt

1.After they post the picks on that sie i use several charts, and dig up as much info on the company i can and make a decision at that point!

2. all the info.

3.Never use rumors i will call the company myself.
and new press releases from several sites.

4. In the pinks i does not matter the companys growth.news releases are the only thing that make them fly.I dont play long on dailys just in and out.

look at the picks on that site and tell me if it was a good decision i made to go in on the ninth of dec. I only did not buy one of the picks.

So far a mixed bag - bought MMIC at .003 and RMVN at .0013. Confidence is high though.

Right now I'm stll hammering down a good method. What I've learned so far is you don't make money holding a stock while it's doing nothing. It dosn't matter how good it maybe or what the future holds.

IMO the future is today.

You make money when they run, it doesn't matter if it's a POS company or the next $5 dollar pipe dream, you still only make money when they run.

So that's my working method right now, I'm trying to always keep my money free if the stock is not running.

Right now I'm working with a limited amount of funds, so I'm almost always putting everything in, for a quick ride. I then yank it back out as soon as it hits resistance or when I reach my predetermined gain percentage.

You mean RVMN. If you did mean RMVN, who're you channeling through the Ouiji board? Hook me up! Unless, that is, you sold your soul. Matt

So then how do you find your plays crockett?

You say you're still hammering down a method, but you've played a few. What do you like to look for? Matt

It's all about volume. Follow the volume and you will find the money.

Flip stocks. Never invest in them. Take your profits. All is my opinion. Do your own DD.

Read up on it here. I use some of Daradogs filters plus some of my own, works very very well once you get the hang of it.

Yea I've got those filters. I never felt really secure with my money and the true sense of day trading. That's why I'm beginning to teach myself all the technical stuff like MA, fibonacci, candlesticks, etc.. All those filters just got confusing. I knew what I was filtering, but I never got a handle of how I should be playing them.

Whatever works for you. Maybe someday I'll try those filters again. Matt

Well like I said I'm still hammering it down.. But honestly I'm not at the point where I go looking for my own stock picks just yet.

So what I've been doing is watching these forums like a hawk and checking out all the stocks that are posted to see what looks good.

I then just check the stocks all the time, from then on.. A lot of times info will be posted on stocks a few weeks before they ever do anything. I just look through them all and see what kind of company they are and what they are doing if it seems legit I keep it on radar.

I set yahoo.finance.com as my homepage and I edit the "Market Summary" section and I just add in my current favorites. This way I can get a quick look at what's going on with each of them every time I open my homepage.

The other thing I use is Alpha Trades E-trax for the L2's. But it also has a decant "portfolio manager" I just fill it up with just about every stock that I think may run at some time and I just keep an eye on it.

I don't know if that's really the best way to do things as it can be risky. However this is all just learning for me until I figure out the best proven method of making money consistently.

I just think penny stocks are different from normal long term stuff. I think it's all about catching the ride when they are moving and I don't worry so much about what's going on with the company it's self except for a few here and there.

It seems every time I've held long I end up losing money and by long I mean week or so. Seems when I make money it's when I jumped in and out in the same day. Just sucks that we have these day trader rules.

Personally I think the most important thing is the volume and how active it is.. Because you don't want to get stuck in one.
