This stock looks like it has no downside from all the DD that I have been reading. Im not an expert by any means and am a little confused as to why the PPS for this stock is so extremly low. Is it because is trades on the pinks and isnt required to file financials? It just doesnt make sense to me that a company with this much revenue and very little dilution can have a PPS this low.

It did go up jdg.....It was trading at .003's in August. It will have its day in the sun VERY soon.

And yes, When they become a full reporting company it will trade much bigger.

Here it is again.

Mike stated they are in the process of retiring the 100 million shares.

Also stated they have a genius for their aquisitions manager who's plan is to pick companies who's owners/management expect to retire out 5 years or more and offer them cash, restricted shares, preferred shares and guarentee minimum cash settlement at end of five years or much more depending on pps of stock.

Plan is minimum dilution, and creative financing with preferred and restricted shares.

We will all know what the O/S is beginning of Feburary. Also, SEC is pushing them to move off of pinkies with this type of revenue so expect a faster move to different exchange.
Also talk of AMEX immediately.
Also expect more major aquisitions soon.
Also 1 billion revenue in three years is target.

Thanks for the reply lilpennypincher,

I saw the huge jump it had late august, this was even after bad news of Katrina...

Real excited about this company, can't find any downside excpet what was already mentioned about then being on the pinks and not required to file.

But all thats about to change anyway.

jdg257 - That huge spike was in Sept and because of the Katrina disaster that it jumped on speculation.

PBLS sustained little or no damage because they were jsut far enough north not to end up under water, and have the closest sand/gravel pit to the disaster. That's why the jump occurred then.

It finally settled to more realistic levels, but now the news is even more substantial and revenues appear to be very, very strong with all of these deals.

The current deal with ProGas alone is worth 190 mil (yes: $190,000,000) and is a very exciting aquisition for the company. I'm expecting the closing news sometime very soon as well and we should see a beautiful raise in the pps becasue of it!

I love this.

The Phoenix corporate core philosophy is to acquire companies that:
Have unrealized profit potential and are willing and eager to work within the Phoenix "family" to improve their company's performance.

Are motivated and need business guidance and/or financial assistance in order to succeed.

Have owners that wish to divest of a company for retirement and/or other personal reasons.

To properly develop and consistently grow as a holding company, other companies such as those described will be added through continued acquisition. This effort will result in an increase in positive cash flow by tapping the sales potential inherent in the newly acquired companies and their assets. As PBLS moves its growth strategy forward, its gross revenue, earnings per share (EPS) and shareholder value will be driven markedly higher, increasing shareholder value.

Check this out.... I was doing some more digging on the recent oil pr...

Nevada is the largest producer of Gold, Silver, Magnesium, Copper, Lithium and a single oil well that still today holds the US Record for the largest flowing well. Why? Because the oil source rocks in Nevada are among the richest in the World.

Nevada is in the heart of the Great Basin—one of the deepest basins United States. And because it was the last place in the US for the ancient ocean waters to subside, it has over 3 Billion years, accumulated the most organically rich and prolific oil producing rocks in the world as good as the Middle East. And the oil finds so far support this statement.

The production from Nevada’s largest producer also happens to be the US’s smallest in size. Ironically, the largest well and its offset produced nearly 4,500 barrels of oil per day for over 10 years and over 20,000,000 barrels in its life time is situated on under 300 acres in size—a fraction of the size that it should be. In Nevada Great things come in little packages.

So why hasn’t all the oil been found? You may ask. Because as with every other industry, better oil finding techniques requires new technology in order to advance. For instance Seismic, a technology that the Major Oil Company’s have helped to publicize so well on TV was only invented some 50 years ago and only in the last 10 years has it been perfected to the point that it is fairly reliable in detecting possible oil reserves. This has resulted in an increase in the success rate for discovery from 1 in 20 to 10 in 20 in “wildcat” or unknown areas of exploration and; even higher in already developed oil fields.

So why hasn’t all the oil in Nevada been found? Because Nevada’s Great Basin has undergone three major episodes of violent crustal changes due to movements or “plate techtonics”. Nevada was squeezed and then pulled and then squeezed again building up rift or range after range including the great Rocky Mountains and Sierra Nevada’s.

Unlike other oil producing basins in the US, Nevada’s basins have been overlain by millions of years of erosion or “valley fill” from the surrounding ranges. This valley fill interferes with seismic sound waves rendering interpretation very difficult. As a result, there have been little or no successful discoveries of oil in Nevada using seismic.

Recently, scientists have been studying Nevada using NASA’s LANDSAT satellite which looks at the Earth using a myriad of different lenses including, Infra-Red, UV and 7 other spectral bands. Interestingly, areas in the Middle East such as the giant oil fields of Iran show up clearly on a satellite as being brighter or lighter in color and cooler at their surface than the surrounding non-producing areas. Similarly, this same technology can be applied to Nevada which is very similar in nature to the Middle East. For example, those very large fields in Railroad Valley Nevada, including the Grant Canyon and others show up bright on the satellite just like the fields of the Middle East. We therefore, may conclude that any other bright spots in the area should be closely scrutinized for possible new fields.

We have discovered 20 areas in Nevada that exhibit the same satellite response as above. Some of these bright spots are 10 times the size of the Grand Canyon field and one is a giant—an anticline (12 miles long by 5 miles wide) and encompassing acres in size, comparable only to the huge structures in the Middle East. We have acquired over 20,000 acres of Federal oil leases on what we consider to be of very high potential for discovering new reserves.

In addition, we have tested each of the bright spots with over 1,100 geochemical and magneto telluric surveys. Geochemical surveys involve taking an augured soil sample on the bright spot 3 ½ feet deep and testing it using a field portable gas chromatograph which tells us if the bright spot contains any of the trace gasses that are commonly found above productive oil fields. The results were very encouraging over more than 10 bright spots.

More than 400 magneto telluric surveys were preformed on the same survey marks. Magneto telluric surveys measure the solar energy and electromagnetic radiation which penetrates deep into the Earth. Similar to the way that seismic sound reflections are recorded, the electrical energy is recorded as it passes through the Earth on its return to the surface. As this energy passes through any hydrocarbon or oil bearing strata, it causes a positive deflection on the recording instrument. Calibration surveys were run over the known producing fields in Railroad valley and then compared to surveys of our prospects. The results again, were very encouraging.

Lastly, our geologists and consultants are among the most experienced and respected in the oil industry. Dr. Dan Francis, professor of Geology at California State University at Long Beach is a well noted author on geology in Nevada with more than 7 publications to his credit. Dr. Francis has written a report on the White Pine prospects. Dr. Francis identified a correlation between the regional gravity of the fields found in Railroad Valley and our bright spots found in White Pine County. Dr Francis brought to our attention that—in addition to the satellite, geochemistry and telluric's; the regional gravity shows that all our bright spots are on the surrounding edges of these gravity lows. Gravity lows are akin to giant cooking pots that the fields must be close to but not too close. Any areas within the gravity low are too hot and thus cooked dry while any too far have not been cooked enough to bring out the oil. Again, the results were very encouraging.

Standard oil field engineering calculations in Nevada are based upon existing fields and their concentrations of oil in formations expressed in barrels of oil per acre foot. The high is 400 barrels per acre foot at the Grand Canyon field and 200 barrels per acre foot for Bacon Flats, another productive field. Taking the lower average of the two and calculating the potential pay sands from the White Pine prospect covering almost 20,000 acres size, this could very possibly be the largest oil discovery in Nevada’s history.

Perhaps some will disagree with me here, but I'm no longer looking at this company as a quick trade. The post-Katrina run was wonderful, but in my eyes, it was wonderful for more than one reason. It was that run put me on to this company in the first place. Now, based on what appears to be straight-forward management (something that shoudn't be taken for granted in penny land!) and a few very sweet deals for a company that looks to be fundamentally very strong and poised for solid growth, I plan on hanging around for awhile. I see real potential in Phoenix, and I hope you guys do as well. GLTA.

nice find FOT.

I always like these Oil & Gas plays. That area appears to be oil rich. We need to ask them if they have the sattelite imagery and analysis as your article indicates they need there. It would be interesting to know what details they have, and how soon the estimated reserves will become proven.

Just reading that again Jeff.

I'm afraid to sell this sucker. LOL
Just amazing.

I now have just over 147000 shares and I'm getting more tomorrow.
I can't tell you how much I like this company!

And Mike is such a shoot from the hip and No pulling punches kind of guy on the phone.

Think they are so RIGHT ON TARGET and definately not going to be trading here long.

One of the few penny's with HUGE potential! IMO!

It is all about technology...

Add to the discovery methods, the horizontal drilling techniques, and this could very well be HUGE HUGE HUGE!

To be honest, I will sell 1/2 of my position at about .05 and ride the rest free shares for a few months! When news comes out that they have contracted for a well on this property, it could really skyrocket... and with an avg pps of 0.00, it will look really great!
