I dug out my GLAD plastic wraps to see what they were made of and here's what they say on the box

"Cautions.......to prvent wrap from emlting, foods high in fat (like bacon) or sugar (like pastry) should not come in contact with plastic wrap in the microwave."

Notice how they don't admit these plastics will release cancer causing carcinogens when in that same heated situation with fatty food stated on the box........they get around admitting it, but warn of the same situation as those linked reports admit when heating fatty foods with these plastics.......hmmmm

Diamant Art Corporation Secures Exclusive Rights for the Territory of People's Republic of China
Friday October 28, 3:00 pm ET

TORONTO--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 28, 2005 -- Diamant Art Corporation (OTC BB:DIAAF.OB - News) is pleased to announce today that, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Diamant Film Inc., it has secured an agreement with Diamant Plastics Corporation for the exclusive marketing and distribution rights to the Territory of People's Republic of China for Diamant stretch film, a non-PVC food wrap. Diamant Art Corporation has already secured the rights to the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and Bahamas and now with the addition of the Territory of People's Republic of China, gives the Company exclusive marketing and distribution rights for Diamant stretch film to a population of 1.3 billion and in the North American market of $700 million industry.

Diamant stretch film is an excellent alternative to PVC film as it does not allow for the migration of harmful agents between the film and the food. Currently, stretch film food wrap products contain Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC), a compound found to be harmful for human consumption and to the environment. In North America, legislation is being considered to limit the use of PVC products. The State of New York has already introduced restrictions on the use of PVC in the food wrap industry. The Company believes they possess the only economically viable polystyrene alternative to PVC stretch film for the North American food wrap industry.

Diamant stretch film has been approved by the Canadian Health Protection Branch for food contact and qualifies for the United States Food and Drug Administration non-objection status.

Diamant Film Inc. has been authorized to use Canada's Environmental Choice Program (ECP). The ECP is North America's leading benchmark of environmentally responsible products and services. The mission of the ECP is to reduce the stress on the environment by encouraging the demand for and supply of environmentally responsible products and services. Canada's environmental Choice Program and its EcoLogo are internationally renowned because of the program's stringent certification process. Diamant stretch film has successfully met the criteria for both environmental and performance standards.

China bans harmful plastic wrappers
By Guan Xiaofeng (China Daily)
Updated: 2005-10-26 05:41

Plastic food wrappers containing a dangerous material have been banned nationwide, quality-control authorities announced yesterday.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine admitted in a press conference that some supermarkets used PVC wrappers that contained DEHA to pack food.

Some supermarkets used PVC wrappers that contained DEHA to pack food. DEHA could harm human health when it is used to pack fatty food or heated in a microwave. [China Daily]

DEHA is a plasticizer which makes the PVC material pliable and was not among the list of 65 kinds of plasticizers banned two years ago.

Consumers are advised to buy plastic food wrappers made of PE, a safe material, or PVC wrappers that contain no DEHA.

Liu Zhaobin, the spokesman for the administration, said DEHA could harm human health when it is used to pack fatty food or heated in a microwave.

Among the tough new measures proposed are:

The administration will strengthen inspection over the plastic food-wrapper industry, and manufacturers using DEHA in PVC wrappers will be severely penalized.

Ji Zhengkun, director of the administration's department of quality inspection, said: "Producers found using DEHA in food wrappers will be closed down immediately and ordered to recall all their products."

The administration will ban the import and export of PVC wrappers that fail to meet the national safety standard. Ji said PVC food wrappers would be added to mandatory inspection list in Customs soon.

The requirements on quality will be raised in a new national standard for the industry.

Supermarkets and shops are ordered to withdraw all plastic food wrappers without labels indicating the material they are made of; and whether they are safe for microwave use.

Ji advised consumers to check labels carefully before they buy food wrappers.

If they buy PVC (without DEHA) wrappers, they should not use it to wrap meat, cooked food or fatty food, or in microwave ovens. However, they can be safely used to wrap vegetables or fruits.

Of the 44 brands of homemade PVC food wrappers surveyed by the administration, almost all meet safety standards except for a few that contained DEHA.

There are 47 producers of plastic food wrappers on the Chinese mainland, of which six use PVC. The domestic market accounts for 90 per cent of their products while the remaining 10 per cent are exported.

If your reading thru the PR's you will find some important wording such as "exclusive marketing rights"
exclusive marketing and distribution rights to the Territory of the People's Republic of China for Diamant stretch film, a non-PVC food wrap. Diamant Art Corporation has already secured the rights to the U.S.A., Canada, Mexico and Bahamas and now with the addition of the Territory of the People's Republic of China, gives the Company exclusive marketing and distribution rights for Diamant stretch film to a population of 1.3 billion and in the North American market of $700 million industry.

Also another interesting PR shows a U.S. military connection and this could also turn real big.

Diamant Film Inc. is also pleased to have Mr. Henry C. Giffin III, Senior Advisor for Presidential Holdings Inc. as its first advisor on Diamant Advisory Board. Mr. Giffin is former Vice Admiral, U.S. Navy, Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Atlantic Fleet. Mr. Giffin is currently Senior Strategic Consultant with Presidential Holdings, Inc. For a complete outline of Mr. Giffin's accomplishments as well as other advisors of Presidential Holdings please visit (http://www.presidentialholdings.com).

all these differant avenues in the works now can seriously lead into a major rise in the PPS if any single one does come to fruition. And also by those e-mailing health food outlets and stores about this product that is a great idea since in the past years they have connected pvc plastic wraps and containers with poisonous attributes harmful to the body and I think thats just the tip of the icebug.

Good luck all and hopefully we have a major winner here and I mean way over a double or triple,I am seeing 10-20 fold plus in the near future with DIAAF.

Too bad the o/s isn't 20 million as stated on a few sites. I still think you're right about the profitability of the stock. Things could get very interesting if you're right about the 10-20 fold. Matt

right now the OS is extremely fair and I am trying to get the restriction count accurately but I am willing to speculate the number is near or around 25% of the OS.I think a .05 short term target will be easy imo.

I consider short term under 60 days, mid term 2 to 6 months and long 6 months to when ever. If they even deal with China only do have an idea just how much revenue that would bring in? Its going to be insane especially since they have an exclusive deal. Also what interest me is the FDA approval is pretty much a done deal!

Diamant Art Corporation Ships Diamant Film to China

TORONTO, Nov 11, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Diamant Art Corporation (OTCBB:DIAAF), and its wholly owned subsidiary, Diamant Film Inc.

Diamant Film Inc.is pleased to announce that Diamant Film has been sent to a Distributor in the People's Republic of China for approval by the Chinese Government for sale of Diamant in China. Diamant Film Inc. and the distributor are jointly developing the Chinese market.
_________________________________________________________

Meat packaging represents one of the largest potential applications for Diamant film. Packagers in this industry require film that has enough oxygen permeability to allow the formation of oxymyglobin, which gives the desired fresh red look to the meat.

But it must also be tough, able to withstand low temperatures, and have good clarity and gloss.

ART International is confident that Diamant film is the answer. It has a low moisture vapour transmission rate required to retain moisture in the packaged product plus an anti-fogging additive to prevent condensation on the inside of the film.

The ever-increasing demand for environmentally friendly and healthier packaging has been pushing companies to find alternative packaging materials for years. Over ten years ago the R&D department of Permapak in Switzerland set out to develop a better performing, environmentally safe stretch film for the food industry – the first real alternative to PVC and the first genuinely recyclable stretch film.

In 2001 Permapak released Diamant Stretchfilm. ART International recently secured a ten-year agreement with for the exclusive marketing and distribution rights in the United States and Canada to the film.

the shorts have until the 15th to cover according to the rule book since they have been on the list since the 9th.I can visualize a lot of upcoming volume next week.It appears that the naked shorters did hurt the PPS but it will only be temporary,if you noticed how level 2 has been presenting it clearly shows the forces holding it down and if you tried buying blocks you know it by the way your buys could not execute in full.I even bought well above the ask and still get it in patials, thats a good sign for up coming events imo.As for the contract with Vicktory,Diamant should actually start to feel the revs this quarter, you have to figure this deal was only 7 months ago and DIAAF during this time had to create a massive inventory thats why the first year for shipping will be less then the rest (per contract).

What type of market share will Diamant have? It seems like Diamant isn't a huge player in the China market considering most of the market will be unaffected by the change. Still, it doesn't hurt Diamant either. What's your take Quest? Matt

(not to even mention North America.

I have no doubt this should be a gapper in the morning but I am almost willing to speculate that this is going to gap and run.Although this shows the year low at .001 when I researched that it was on Sept 20th when it hit .011 and the MM's dropped it near closing bell to .001 it appears but then it opens on Sept 21 at .009,looks like the MM games started back then.Right now I feel the real bottom is in the .0079 area so now is the time to get in quick.I have a feeling the right sequence of events could actually put us over the year high in the short term but probably just temporary because it will need to retrace and get another higher footing.

You're saying you think this could hit .165 from where we're at now of .0084? That's a pretty bold statement if you ask me. I don't believe the O/S was as large as it is now compared to back in June even.

Are you going to hold for above .1? Sounds like a ballsy play if you ask me. Matt

MBAH went from .011 to .42,GCCP went from .028 to .21,QBID went from .0001 to .025,BIPH from .09 to $3.60,AMEP from .0168 to .14,CLBE from .018 to .10,there many stocks out here that broke out and really took off,DIAAF has real potential and real contracts that they should be feeling the effect of this quarter and throughout the rest of the time period. We will see in the near future where it goes thats why I will be holding a good portion of freebies.
