I thought it would be interesting if some of us, both new and old members, posted their preferred method of DD. Ya know, how do you evaluate a fresh stock?? Inquiring minds want to know

Well, after reading headlines over the weekend,(and a lil at night) i scan the charts- if it doesnt look good in the first minute then i move on. if the history of the chart is repeatative, or moving up then i note it. Then ill research the PR's. Looking for news about upcoming news. when all else fails....i either shake my "magic 8-ball" or ask this girl in the office next to me. all she does is DD!

Well I'm up 692% overall since 9/1/05 and 90% of that is from playing news as it breaks! Not an hour later, not ten minutes later! Right when it comes out! The biggest reason for maintaining a +% is that I don't wait for the top, to move to the next stock. I take gains as they become available! Experence has tought me that trying to get rich on one stock or even trying to drain every last drop of profit out of any run leaves you watching that run drop! When I get out I don't look back even if that stock runs like the wind, after I have taken a profit. A profit after-all is what its all about and if I get one, at all, I'm satisfied and ready for the next breaking news story on the next stock! Good Luck to all of you!
