Sitestar and IDACOMM in agreement for acquisition of customers 9/20/2005 6:03:49 AM Sep 20, 2005 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Sitestar Corporation ( SYTE ), an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and computer services company, announced on Monday (19 September) it has entered into an agreement with IDACOMM, a facilities-based communications subsidiary of IDACORP company ( IDA ), for acquisition of its customers.
The acquisition will see approximately 11,500 Internet customers with such services as dial-up access, Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) access, and web hosting and web acceleration, becoming a part of Sitestar. IDACOMM had marketed to these customers mainly under the Velocitus brand name.
Sitestar expects to double its revenue and increase net profit with this deal.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
