I have noticed a definite correlation between volume and PPS. Now, I know that isn't any revelation from the divine. It is WHEN you see the unusually higher volume that is important, the earlier the better. I have several examples. On August 18, I sent pm's to several members here telling them INSQ, (PPS .0029),looked to be ready for a day trade type run, and PBLS looked good at .0033. This came to my attention because of the volume that day. I didn't save any of the pm's, but you can check the price history.
On August 26, I posted this: will Member posted August 26, 2005 17:59 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- lil'

52 week low .007, current PPS .0078 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HOD today .011
Also saw DTOI, OXFV, APPI, in advance. I didn't post any of those though, but they each had a gain in PPS after the unusual volume days. Saw NCDP Friday, Spetember 2.
I have been watching this for awhile now. Sometime it takes two, three weeks before these stocks take off. Sometime it seems to be dilutuon and they go South.
If you all like I will post the stocks that fit this model, so there will be record of their preformance.

OK let me give you the first one I found from today. It looks scary, matter of fact it looks like crap. I'll attach some detail. Maybe someone can figure out what is going on with it. This is the second jiggle I have seen it have in the last week or so, DTOI.

Maybe this has something to do with the increased volume:
From latest 14C : REVERSE STOCK SPLIT On August 23, 2005, the Board and the consenting stockholders unanimously adopted and approved a resolution to effect a one-for-four hundred (1:400) reverse split (the "Reverse Stock Split") of all issued and outstanding shares of common stock of Dtomi, effective not earlier than twenty (20) days after this Information Statement is mailed to stockholders of record as of August 23, 2005, and ten (10) days after Dtomi notifies both the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (the "NASD"), and the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (the "OTCBB") of the Reverse Stock Split.

Great Volume, but this one plays a little different than the scenario I am looking for. True 8.9M volume is a bunch, but compare it to the 20 and 50 day volume it really isn't that unusual. Double 5 day though, might be warming up for something soon. I like IDVL, made a few bucks on previous runs. It's one of those that will run, fall back, play dead, and run again.

Can anyone tell me where to find volume and price history in a matrix format, (text), not chart for: XYNY and EFLT Both had good volume but I don't know what their 5, 20, 50, day avg. volume is. I usually use Barchart.com, but neither of them is listed.

If anyone feels ambitious look at PEFH. Take a look back about a week or so, you will see a volume spike, you will also see pretty strong volume yesterday, (doesn't show on barcharts.com), on a down day. Compare those days with the 5, 20, and 50 day avg. volume, and you will see it fits this model perfectly. Check FCDH also, look back for the volume spike a week or 10 days ago.

i figured you'd be yappin about FDCH in here today. ok we need a new rule, you can only claim good picks if they run within a week, 10 days tops. if over a week you lose the right to get patted on the back for your next pic. since FDCH was at least 2 weeks ago we will give credit for any next pic to the first newbie that posts in here.....lol

Sometime they take longer than 10 trading days, bill. Most of them go sooner or later. Those volume spikes are from people loading up on the frontend when they know something we don't.
OH, FCDH I didn't post in here. I only gave it to you and highway last week I think.

Will, my friend, you might try Stockhouse.com for price and volume history. Type in the symbol, enter, then go to the right where it says "view history" and click that.

Couldn't find any company information, no SEC filings, no news, nada, but with that massive spike in volume at a decent PPS there better be something going on.
Any opinions on what is driving this?
