CYOP'S Internet Poker Opening for Play; Online Poker Site to Be Playable for Cash Contests at SkillArcade.com
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Aug 17, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CYOP Systems International Inc. (OTCBB:CYOS), a leading provider of online gaming software and operator of games portals, is pleased to announce that its TenSeatPoker.com(TM) software will be open for cash play at www.SkillArcade.com on Friday August 19th. As previously announced, CYOP has now reached a user-base of two hundred and fifty thousand (250,000) play-for-fun members on the CrediPlay Network, through its affiliates and the proprietary game site, www.SkillArcade.com. Current sign-ups at the URL site are averaging 300 per day.
The Company will be promoting the Texas Hold' Em poker game to the skill player user-base by utilizing interactive marketing including mail-outs with incentives and bonuses.
Online gaming will continue to be an explosive cash generator. Gaming consultants Christian Capital forecast that gaming revenue will rise to $22.7 billion (US) by 2009, from $8.2 billion in 2004, a growth of 22 percent. Online gaming is also expected to grab an 8.1% share of the worldwide global gaming market.
