The stock opened .038 up this morning ...but the news release came out yesterday after the market close. How is it possible to have profited from this? Is this an after market traded stock?

Let's see, my math says this:

0.061 ---> Yesterdays Close
+0.038 ---> The gap up this morning
------
.099

0.158 ---> Current ask as of this posting

.059 ---> PROFIT of 65% +

Mind you, it went all the way up to .19, which makes your profit over 100% even if you jumped in this morning....

This is a good play for the day and would have made you $$$ in a very short period of time. Wonder if it'll be a gapper on Monday, too?

How is it possible to have profited from the +.038 gain after the market closed and the after market news release?

Sure I would have made money had I bought this morning... but what about the profit on the .038.

Is this an after market traded stock?

I don't see anyone posting that they profited on this after hours. AFAIK, no stock on the OTCBB or Pinksheets is allowed to trade after hours.

Yestersdays news was held off until after market close,,,and since this is not an after market traded stock the only way one could have profited on the after market gain of .038 is if you bought it yesterday before market close and before the big news release. One would either have to be lucky, have inside knowledge or be physic.

BURNABY, British Columbia, Sept. 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- EYI Industries Inc., (OTCBB:EYII) (http://www.StopDrinkingPoison.com) a marketer of products that promote well-being and a healthy lifestyle, is pleased to announce that Nutri-Diem, Inc., ("NDI"), the manufacturer of CALORAD(r), and PROSOTEINE(tm), is fully supporting EYI's September launch in Hong Kong. Our leaders there are excited to have the product back in their market." Sargeant continued, "By lowering our product costs of re-entry, NDI is allowing us to invest more capital into infrastructure, human resources and marketing materials. We are busy preparing training, marketing and video media in Cantonese and Mandarin to support NDI product sales in this all-important market. We believe this is a win-win for both companies."
