Q Television Reduces its Tradable Stock by Fifty-Three Percent
Business Wire - August 02, 2005 09:00

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Aug 02, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Q TELEVISION NETWORK, (OTC: QBID), the first 24/7 premium network for the gay and lesbian community, announced today that, in an effort to bring fair value to its trading stock, QBID, Frank Olsen, President, CEO and majority shareholder, has converted all his personal QBID holdings into preferred stock, which makes up 53 % of the total shares.

"We converted QBID shares into preferred stock, eliminating fifty-three percent of the tradable outstanding shares. We are confident this will strengthen the demand for our stock, and dry up the supply of trading shares that we feel are being manipulated in the market," said Olsen. "Converting our common stock into preferred stock will allow us to retain voting rights, but will also squeeze out the large short position in the stock. Q Television will continue to be as aggressive as possible, and do everything necessary to ensure our shareholders are treated fairly."

About Q Television:

This 24/7 premium television network is organized to create, develop and feature television programming for the gay and lesbian community, including live & interactive content every weeknight, plus sports, information and entertainment. While the company expects much of its subscriber base to be comprised of members of the gay and lesbian population, management also believes that quality programming about the gay and lesbian experience, designed to entertain, educate and inform, will attract many other segments of the viewing public. The company's programming is available on a subscription basis to those desiring to subscribe. The network is telecast 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Providing distribution via satellite ensures availability of the network across the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico. Q Television Network is the official network of Gay Games(R) VII. The network is also ad-supported. For further information on programming and subscriptions, please visit www.qtelevision.com.

53% of what? 10, 20, 50, or 100 billion shares. you cant put a price on a stock that has a unknown O/S count, especially when its worthless to begin with.

This MM manipulation and with this volume got all the impatient people out. The MM's were buying at the ask all day long.....I tried blocks of 100k...3 different times...alll bought at ask....make your own conclusions....I know this has been vey frustrating to everyone but I think a larger move than anyone expects will come this month JMHO.

Hang in there everyone...I was in this last year when it ran and lost my shirt by not selling...have disciplined myself with many Hrs behind this screen as I'm sure many of you have and the time is near.

no it dose not make is stock the only voteable stock.... it really depends on how the preferred shares were setup.

Preferred shares have x amount of voting rights but the common stock holder still has there 1 vote per 1 stock * beleive hwo it works *
also we dont know what 1 perferred share is = to x amount of common shares
Only real benefit from a perferred share is that it wont be r/sed as common shares get and thats one of my biggest fears at this point. Now Frank is unaffected if a R/S is issued.

After doing some digging it sounds like going private can get pretty ugly:

http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m4070/is_194/ai_111737857

"...But the process is demanding. Financing routes run the gamut from equity investment and subordinated debt combinations to asset lease-back plans, employee-funded stock buy-backs and even junk bonds. And if money is slow to come, competitors may attack the business, while other bidders appear, ready to steal the company out from under management. And then there are the shareholder lawsuits that can be set off by even the whiff of a conflict of interest.

But first, there is the challenge of finding the cash. If going public is an expensive proposition, retiring from the limelight isn't actually cheap, either. Some large companies have spent over $1 billion to go private, and even small to midsized companies can require hundreds of millions."

Here is another educational article on going private. I am convinced that QBID will not go private after about 5 minutes of research:

obviously QBID is dead money with thier enormous O/S count and has been for a long time. if you honestly want to know. a stock i like for this month is GCCP. only 91 million O/S and 40 million float. with an O/S this low, GCCP could easily double depending on a few other issues that should be taken care of soon. the company reported a profitable last quarter. and the 2nd quarter report is due out aug 14th and will likely come out earlier. from thier PR "our sales growth pattern over the last four quarters -- almost zero, $5 million, $10 million, and now $15 million plus. Global is real, its viable, its profitable, and its growing." heres the most recent PR-

Global Concepts Second Quarter Revenue Exceeds $15 Million

MONTCLAIR, N.J., July 20, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global Concepts (OTCBB:GCCP) announced today that second quarter revenue for 2005 exceeded $15,000,000, and will be profitable for the quarter.

Ed Rodriguez, Global's chairman and CEO explained: "We are very proud of the $15,000,000 million dollars in profitable revenue we will show for the second quarter. What should make it dramatic and exciting to a shareholder or anyone else interested in our company is our sales growth pattern over the last four quarters -- almost zero, $5 million, $10 million, and now $15 million plus. Global is real, its viable, its profitable, and its growing."

About Global Concepts, Ltd.:

Global Concepts, Ltd. (GCCP) is a publicly traded company whose major subsidiary Compagnie Logistic Transport Automobile, S.A. (CLTA) prepares thousands of new cars for delivery for Peugeot and Citroen, and has 60 car-carriers doing actual deliveries throughout Europe. One of CLTA's divisions, TransCuisinier moves containerized freight throughout France, at night, for all the major international airfreight forwarders including UPS, FEDEX and DHL.

In the U.S., GCCP has two divisions. J & J Marketing has designed a line of skin treatment creams that contain no chemical additives or preservatives, for use by both men and women. It's marketed under the brand name Savage Beauty. The other AMD has designed a low-cost home-testing kit for AIDS.

DIGDOUGH, did you get in GCCP when i first told you about it a couple weeks ago? price then was .16 and it spiked to .22 last week, nearly a 40% gain mostly based just on speculation. but when the actual numbers come out this could be big, and with an announcement of debts being paid off to escape cornell financing. right now GCCP has settled back into the .18s, im awaiting re entry, hope you got in on this a couple weeks ago.

Agreed. If anything, Frank changing his stock to preferred stock allows him to further dilute the 53% that used to be regular shares. The fact that you guys can sit there and claim he is telling you he is not diluting is hilarious.

Get it on tape and I'll send it to the SEC. He's clearly been diluting. After all, who could possibly be selling this stock at these low of prices? You can't naked short pink sheet stocks, only sell shares that the CEO gives you. Frank gives these guys shares and they go drop them via the Berlin Exchange.

And yes, I own shares in this stock. I'm not selling, because Frank will dilute till this hits .0001 and then buy back all the shares quietly and it'll run to .05 again after a year or two.

And yes, this is a real company with legitimate broadcasting, but right now, he's diluting to make money. Just watch how fast it falls to .001 after this month.

As I am a current shareholder, if you are looking for a good stock to get in to, look elsewhere. QBID is **NOT** your stock.

--------------------
As a forum poster, it is ironic that you are held to a higher standard than a Pink Sheet CEO.
