6 months ago, this was a 1 hour program, today crammed in 15 minutes. NBC gave in to the investment banks, SEC & DTCC.
The special did mention that the SEC put in a new law that makes it illegal to naked short...
BUT....
...it grandfathered the law in, meaning all the fraud that happened earlier would not be looked into or prosecuted.
My God, what horsesh!t - on both NBC and the SEC (with the DTCC). The small investor, at all times, is looked at with disregard.
I realize this is a QBID board - I am a holder of between 1 million and 1.1 million shares. I believe that the naked shorting along with the Berlin exchange bullsh!t, is hurting our stock price (along with the incomplete numbers, etc.).
I apologize to the board if they do not see the relation in regards to naked shorting and QBID.
Shame on NBC for giving in to big business...

this *should be* on an off-topic board, but it is its own thread, dolfan, no Qbidians should be rankled. This is such an important topic, nobody should mind the multi-threads, but that being said, we should consolidate into one.
And, yes, from I'm heard and read, it was pathetic. As for the NSS, not only was gradfathered but also called "legal in certain cases."
Pathetic? actually, if the situation were 100x better, it might qualify as pathetic. We got capital screaming out of the economy, and the powers that be do nothing. The whole market needs dismantling/rebuilding, truly accountable to the new investing public that was undreamed of when the current structure was built.

I think small investors should protect themselves, and avoid those crap/scam companies. The best way to start is a blacklist for Bad Boys on this board.

should probably talk to the moderator about making a list of all these scams , high O/S, unknown O/S, past R/S history, ect... companies and have the list that stays at the top of the board. this would save a few people from these scams.

i was only in QBID, back when it was tradeble. QBID is down 70% since i sold. so, i know you have taken aleast a 70% loss since i sold. too bad you will never be able to get your money back since you rode QBID down to nothing.

those are only reverse splits, i was talking about all the questionable investments that have no chance of going anywhere. especially the ones with several billion outstanding shares.
