AMRS is an Oil & Gas company that recently extended itself into mining Gold and Silver via a joint venture (See PR June 28th 05), this is an already operating mine. They aren't sitting still either, "Our goal will be to increase production rates to the capacity of the plant, which is 150 tons per day and increase recovery rates to maximize the plant's potential." and they continue to pursue other gold and silver mining properties. I see Dardadog mentioned this stock in the main thread late last week.

American Stellar Energy Signs Joint Venture on Gold Property Tuesday June 28, 9:22 am ET
CHICAGO, June 28, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- American Steller Energy (Other OTC:AMRS.PK - News) is pleased to report that it, through its 97%-owned Mexican subsidiary Amermin, has signed a joint venture agreement with Minas de Topago, S.A de C.V., a private Mexican Company, to acquire a 60% interest in the La Millonaria property, a gold and silver mining property situated near the town of Chinipas in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico. The La Millonaria property consists of four mining concessions that total 875 hectares in area. The property is located in the Sierra Madre Occidental in an historic mining district. The property includes formerly producing gold mines. The State of Chihuahuas' Direccion General de Fomento Economico conducted a preliminary evaluation in 1993 of the waste dump material at the La Millonaria mine, concluding that approximately 27,000 tons of material is present with an average gold grade of 9.7 g/ton (0.283 oz/ton) and an average silver grade of 96.7 g/ton (2.82 oz/ton). Preliminary metallurgical testing by the Fomento Economico indicated that 50% to 70% of the gold present in the dump material is recoverable by conventional milling and flotation methods.
American Stellar will be the operator of the joint venture and will provide $450,000 in capital to the joint venture consisting of $100,000 in cash payments, of which $55,000 has already been paid, and $350,000 will be spent to purchase and refurbish a mill and mine infrastructure to process 75 tons per day in order to vest its 60% interest. All costs will be recouped before the joint venture revenue interest is initiated.
American Stellar Energy has recently commissioned a licensed geologist, capable of producing a NI43-101 report, which will provide a detailed description of our mining assets.

We anticipate the ability to fund this joint venture over time using cash flow from our La Curitta operations. Dipped this am into the .05's. I saw some people took advantage of this, congrats. .05x.06 now on 225k volume, not a lot, but shows people are keeping this on watch. I see a fairly quick run to .11 once .06's are gone. Oil/gas/gold/silver... both yellow and black gold.. that smells like money to me, and they are already producing properties, not something new that needs to be tested before revenues can be generated.

American Stellar Energy Provides Corporate Update Thursday July 7, 10:30 am ET
CHICAGO, July 7, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- American Stellar Energy (Other OTC:AMRS.PK - News) is pleased to provide a corporate update surrounding its 1000 acres of oil and gas interests in Corsicana, Texas.
The company continues to see good flow rates out of its Corsican oil field, in which it owns a 45% Working Interest. On average, the field is producing approximately 400 barrels per month, 95% of which is coming from just two of the three wells. The company is preparing to complete its fourth well at the Hill lease, which has shown early indications exceeding those of the previous wells. We expect this well to be completed over the next two weeks.
Additionally, the company has signed a Joint Venture Option, to further develop the field, that would allow for the drilling of up to 30 additional wells in Corsicana. Outside of this agreement, the field would allow for American Stellar Energy and partners to drill of another 40 to 60 Pecan Gap wells.
Over the last 6 weeks American Stellar Energy has also acquired two substantial Gold and Silver properties, one which is producing currently and one that has near term production potential. The company looks forward to providing an update on these projects over the following days and weeks, along with a completed NI 43-101 Report.

American Stellar Energy Increases Tonnage and Recoveries at La Currita Wednesday July 13, 9:20 am ET
CHICAGO, July 13, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- American Stellar Energy (Other OTC:AMRS.PK - News) is pleased to provide an update with regards to its La Currita Mine and Ore Processing Plant located near Temoris, Chihuahua, Mexico.
The plant is currently running at the rate of 86 tons per day. The technical team overseeing operations has succeeded in increasing Gold recovery rates from 80 percent to 85 percent and with regards to silver from 40 percent to 82 percent. With the current estimate of silver to gold ratios contained in the La Currita ore, this will increase concentrate values by 44 percent on a combined basis.
American Stellar is also working to increase the ore tonnage that is being supplied, with regards to the ore contract it previously negotiated, to supply ore from a non-owned nearby mine to generate material to increase the rate of production at the mill.
Additionally, we are in the process of assaying approximately 40,000 tons of tailings that exist from historical milling, when efficiencies were much lower at the plant. If these tailings have sufficient values, they could be used for immediate mill feed with a much higher throughput rate then newly mined ore.
