Dug up a few facts about Merritt BC. I like the one about Wal-Mart. Looks like a high growth area.
Confidence in Merritt's future is exemplified by a number of current development projects:
Wagons West Travel Plaza is the new Husky Truck Stop with good access off the Freeway, loads of parking, convenience store, full service restaurant and take out bar, gelato bar and the special amenities for truckers - showers, lounge, phones and internet access. There is additional development potential at this site with several serviced parcels pre-zoned for commercial use.
Nicola Meadows, a seniors assisted living housing project is under construction.
Canadian Tire has opened the doors on a new 38,000 sq. foot store and provided 45 new employment opportunities.
Extra Foods has just completed and opened a 42,777 sq. foot store and gas bar.
Tim Hortons has opened in the northeast sector.
Ross Chocolates will be building a new factory operating with 40 new employment opportunities.
Coquihalla-Gillis House is undergoing a 0,000 renovation project.
A new ambulance station has completed construction and is now part of the Nicola Valley Health Centre.
The Nicola Valley Health Centre is renovating to consolidate health services in one complex.
8 new houses are under construction.
A second Movie Gallery has opened in the northeast sector.
A 70,000 sq. ft. WalMart (with 40,000 sq.ft. future expansion area) is at Development Permit stage
3 other commercial sites are nearing announcement.

Guys I am in this one like most of you. I have 170000 shares. Looking for a run with the rest of you. The problem I have while doing DD is this:
If they are the fastest growing dealership then why are they only doing "Revenues for the last three months totaled $210,361 with a net profit of $59,619." thats only about 14 average cars in 3 months. There are tons of dealers that do that in a day.
Also why wouldn't they have a real web site up and running (not coming soon)? It only takes a day to do this. I know because I have 31 web sites myself.
They only have one small lot and are opening one more in a small town.
Compare this to CarMax: CarMax, a Fortune 500 company and one of the Fortune 2005 "100 Best Companies to Work For," is the nation's largest retailer of used cars. With headquarters in Richmond, Va., CarMax currently operates 62 used car superstores in 28 markets. CarMax also operates seven new car franchises, all of which are integrated or co-located with its used car superstores. During the twelve month period ended May 31, 2005, the company retailed 264,958 used cars, which is 93 percent of the total 285,354 vehicles retailed during that period.
Plus CarMax had the backing of CircuitCity.
I am probally going to bow out of this unless I can find a real reason to stick it out. Already down and I can not see what made it run beside the group play the other day.

anytime a hyped up pr doesn't produce u get what we have now...the rest is fluff to the market until we see numbers and share structure. It'll happen but now we are at the MM F'rs discretion.
