very interesting company & here's a kink to some news; scroll to the "presenters" on May 10, Innova in the first and Frontline & White Box robotics together in another, during which "news will be released." This is a big-deal conference, unique in the industry with major players eg Boeing, John Deere and Popular Science magazine.

OK, looks like this is the only small(micro)cap play involved. The only other traded co.s seem to be Future Combat Systems, which is Boeing (BA $61.01 [+$1.27] and John Deere (DE $62.69 [-0.2]). News/PR could come as early as Tuesday afternoon, following their presentation at the Robobusiness Conference...

Good point re RSI. The potential run might well be fueled by news/events stemming from the conference. Definitely one to watch. I think Subby and I agree that this is a "real" one, a nice long play...btw, just for kicks, run a decade-long chart on Microsoft and check out the RSI. Am I saying this is another MSFT? No, but RSI, it seems to me, is not fail safe in the event of steady buying pressure. Do you know how this applies, Renrob? Should we give a shout out for, say, the Glassman or FOT to lend a hand interpreting these charts?

Real bad news posted after market yesterday "Innova Holdings Receives SEC Subpoena Regarding 2003 Transactions" has the stock tumbling today .... anyone still holding this and if so, any opinions on where it's likely to bottom out and whether it will come back?
It sounds like the current CEO arrived AFTER the problem, and is cooperating, which should mean good things.
Could be a risky play, but this could be a real good one to pick up at bottom.

Jun 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Innova Holdings, Inc. (IVHG) , a software company providing software solutions to the service, personal, and industrial robotic markets, announces that it has leased a manufacturing facility in the greater Detroit, MI metropolitan area that will be used by its subsidiary, Robotic Workspace Technologies, Inc. (RWT) to assemble the Universal Robot Controller (URC(tm)) to meet production requirements in the Midwest.
"There are more than 135,000 robots being used in North America," explains Walter Weisel, Chairman and CEO of Innova Holdings and RWT, "and the highest concentration of these is in the Midwest where they are used by automobile manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and other heavy equipment manufacturers. The URC, with its plug-and-play capability to replace obsolete proprietary controls with today's state-of-the art open architecture controls is a cost-effective solution to extend the life of robotic systems that are in good mechanical condition. This new manufacturing facility will enable us to provide our customers a local production source, saving precious time and expense associated with deliveries."
RWT's flagship product is the Universal Robot Controller that utilizes the PC platform and the Microsoft(r) Windows(r) environment to provide an open-architecture PC control system for controlling robots and other automated equipment and processes. It also serves as a higher-level supervisory control system for systems integration. The URC features a "plug-and-play" design that facilitates the easy replacement of proprietary controls. The URC's universal robot programming language, RobotScript(r), is a derivative of Microsoft's Visual Basic Scripting Edition. The URC has been awarded two U.S. patents. It is currently operating on a variety of ABB, Fanuc, Cincinnati Milacron, Kawasaki, and Yaskawa Motoman robots being used in North America at Fortune 100 companies like Northrop Grumman, Martin Marietta, General Dynamics, Lockheed, and at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, plus Tier 1 automotive manufacturing plants.
