I don't mean to waste anyone's time here but I heard that the MM's signal each other through different sales. Like 100 shares means I need more and so on. Is there any truth to this? I am watching stocks with buy and sell orders of 100k plus go through and then bam! 100 or 200 shares. And if not, why on Earth, would you buy 100 or 200 shares of a stock at .008?

100 = I need shares 200 = I need shares but do not take down the PPS 300 = Take down the PPS to get shares 400 = Trade sideways Supply & Demand 500 = Gap One Way Or The Other

dunno, i don't do much in pink sheets...i play a few, and i been playing more lately, but my lesson to myself was that not everything they blame on MM's is really the MM's
in NASCAR they call this coopettition i think..
only YOU press the buy sell buttons...
and there are some/quite a few actually, people who post here regularly who really do try to help you as they help themselves too.....

Block size I assume your talking about. Doesn't really mean much in penny market because of the huge share volume traded but 9999 is the max number because system only allows 4 digits and 50 is the size of the block. So they are looking at buying 9999 blocks of 50. Probably is a lot more then 9999 but as stated that is the max number they can list.

HILANDER.....Like glassman said it could of been someone messing with people's mind...I was fighting what I thought were MM signals for two days on AMTL.........Now I'm not so sure.....I pulled a glassman on um....Made a buy at 2.51 for 100 shrs......Then I put my main order in for a thousand shrs at 2.51, it would'nt fill..Finaly got it filled 2.52.....Almost 7 mil in vol friday...........................................Psychologically speaking, if you let your psyche [ Imagination] take over while trading it will probably begin to drive ya nuts.......The level 2's are your friend....Plus Positive volume increase's.........Volume is the Life Blood in penny land...I know you know that, but sometimes all of us forget, and thats when mistakes are made...........I use instant last sell on the Pinks.........Many times you can figger out bid and ask from them.........IMO

just one other thing to note, if you do make a 100 signal buy at .02 worth $2.00 most broker's will only charge your account the value of the trade.....so a $2.00 trade would be charged a $2.00 comm.

this whole concept is silly. whether it works or not, i see plenty of crappy buys or sells, hell it could be a partial, does anyone think the mm's actually don't have cell phones to contact one another.....

well, now, Keithsan, that is a good point, too. Maybe such signals allow quicker reactions during runs than making a call, I sure wouldn't know. Surely there's some "confessional" books somewhere written by ex-MMs ??? Anyway, Ric's point about my 9999 x 50 is merely block sizes, not necessarily signals, as I understand his response.

Yeah I use my last sale indicator as an almost instant indication of b/a. The problem is not being able to see who is down the line on L2. ameritrade doesn't show b/a on Pinkies. Oh well.

in my opinion these signal's work, not to a T, but i have played quite a few stocks off of these signal's......sometime's they will signal hard before runnin'......who ever throw's them out they are worth keepin' an eye on........just my opinion.......GL
