I understand that part - just dont get it what it means when they are both on the ask and bid side with .0017 and .0166, and they are next in line...as it is right now...how does that part work?

Not sure what you're asking, so if this is too obvious, apologies. But that's how those firms make money, by the spread. In that example, if you want to buy the stock, NITE will sell it to you for .0017. If you want to sell your stock NITE will buy it from you for .0166. The .0004 difference is basically NITE's profit at that moment in time.

That's why you need to look at the bid AND ask when participating in the market. If you just look at "last" transaction on some screens, you could be out of luck. You might see .0166 as the last transaction, and then try to buy shares at .0166. But if NITE is at the front of the line at that moment, he won't sell you his stock for .0166-he will only sell it at .0177. Hency the jockeying all day.

It is said that the larger the spread, the goofier the stock (the lower the general interest in it). Sometimes people get excited when they see a really high ask (the price being offered by a market maker like NITE to anyone wanting to buy stock.) But if most of the market makers have asks at say .1 and most of them also have the bid (what they offer for those who want to sell) at .05, what they're really saying is, interest in this stock is so low, or trading so thinly, that they won't take the risk of taking on that stock without an outrageous markup.

Right now I see bid at .0165 and ask at .0168, a pretty nicely thin spread for a pinky, though on busy days it's often tighter than that.

I just spoke with Judy at PLNI HQ..... the meeting is over and she just spoke with Jim...

My first question was if a transcrpit would be available, and she told me that it there was one, it would come from Wall Street Reporter...

Then she immediately went on to tell me that she has NEVER heard Jim so excited. They were VERY well received and were invited to speak at another investors meeting (out of country somewhere)....

She said that Jim and Bill are there together and we should get a PR VERY SOON with an update as to how it went, but she said that Jim told here over and over how great it went!

I asked if the audit details were provided to the convention, because if it was, then they would all be insiders now... and she laughed and told me that she didn't know exactly what they were presenting!

I asked if the Semco deal was finalized and she told me that someone from PLNI is at the Semco shop getting training this week... which I found interesting. I followed up by asking if the Semco HQ would be consolidated into the KY office... she honestly did not know!

One day this is going to skyrocket and without news. It could be tomorrow or next month. We can have the best news and no significant climb.

Be patient..

Well boys and girls that must have been some meeting because when I spoke with Judy yesterday she told me that Jim and his wife was taking some time off after the meeting and he wouldnt be back in until Monday to do my quote for me but she has my name and number on her lamp:: so thats a very good sign. Second, the person that is going to Semco to get trained is Jimmy jr. and they are very excited about that! Shouldnt be long now til were all on the way to plastic land!

BTW: anybody that thinks I'm full of it feel free to PM me and I will give you Judys number and my name and you can call her and tell her I told you to call and I'm sure she will verify I have been on the phone with her many times AND yesterday.

Thats the reason they are working SO HARD to get off the pinks so that they will have better control over the manipulation and go after the ones doing it.

Interesting report from someone at the Conf... From the IHUB board:

Yes...I attended and spoke with Jim Turek and Bill Howe for about an hour after their presentation. I have a lot to digest, it's all positive. The numbers won't be out for a few weeks. The auditor working on the numbers got married (which he is allowed to do) and went on a three week honeymoon to the Philipines but neglected to inform Jim Turek that the numbers would not be ready prior to his departure. JIm is very angry and looking for a firm to pick up the project ASAP and have the numbers out in a few weeks. That was the only negative.

I plan to review a lot of materials, speak to Bill Howe again on Friday and then post some information for all to review by the weekend.

It looks like we have a real winner here. We need to be patient and properly manage our expectations.

The company is profitable. It will be incrementally more profitable with the acquisition of SEMCO. I want to use the numbers I have and try to lay out some reasonable expectations for us over the next 12-18 months.

clb, As I understand it, this is not limited to pinkys, but is aslo widespread in the otcbb as well, and even some in the nasdaq too. Plasticon needs to pay close attention to their stock activity and pursue legal action if it is being manipulated under fraudulent pretenses.

Hopefully we here some great news regarding the conference, and audit soon. Thanks for the info FOT, sounds positive.

Hey Chop...FOT...

I don't think that talking about their financials is any problem. I think general statements like " We forsee sales of $$$$$ in the upcoming six months" is a problem...or
"We anticipate additional purchase/mergers of companies in the next 12 months" ...Or even some specific numbers in terms of profits, sales, expenses...or profit margins...

I think the only way that there even might be a problem is if an audit is completed or near completion and they give out the line by line details of the audit. I would not spend a lot of energy worrying about them saying something out of line...Also, remember it is still a pink...

Good luck everyone...
