Malers Automation and Control Enters Home Automation Market
April 04, 2005 09:30:23 (ET)
HADERA, Israel, Apr 4, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Malers Automation and Control Ltd. ("Malers") (Pink Sheets:GXXL), today announced that the Company is launching a marketing campaign for the home automation market.
Existing expertise in developing systems with sensors and controllers can be applied to this huge vertical market. "In parallel to our activities in industry, we found that our years of experience, proficiency and know-how can work well in the high-end market of home automation," says Malers' CEO, Ronen Luzon. "Our systems and unique designs caught the attention of several contractors who are well entrenched in this market and we hope to finalize with one of them in the coming weeks. Israel will serve as our test ground before going after the larger markets in the U.S. and Europe."
Malers' unique system design with existing sensors and controllers will allow for a large array of advanced and highly reliable features for home automation. Moreover, the Company excels in taking technologies to their absolute limits. Standard features include remote control of home temperature, lighting, garage door automation, alarm system, home entertainment system, voice mail, and much more. "We plan to take home automation a few steps beyond the standards of today," notes Luzon. Because of the industrial-level approach to the Company's components and systems, Malers' systems are more feature-rich and more durable and functional in problematic weather conditions, where the highly common instance of power surges can take down such systems in both the winter and summer months.
"We're studying this market closely and have found that there is a huge potential for Malers over the coming years," Luzon comments. "Our proprietary systems will command a higher price, yet will appeal to a large percentage of the home automation market."

HADERA, Israel, Apr 6, 2005 (PRIMEZONE via COMTEX) -- Malers Automation and Control Ltd. ("Malers") (Pink Sheets:GXXL), today announced that the Company, through new partnerships in Eastern Europe, will generate sales in excess of $2 million dollars.
"The relationship with our Russian partners, Automatic Service, is proving to be quite effective," says Ronen Luzon, CEO of Malers. "We have identified several vertical markets throughout Eastern Europe where we can generate high demand for our systems and our new PLC-SER (Programmable Logic Controller-Sequence Event Recorder). We project sales in excess of $2 million for the coming 18 to 24 months. Once we have sufficiently opened these new distribution channels, we intend to take a similar tact in other parts of the world."
The companies are currently in the final stages of negotiations with distributors in the target markets, where timing is now of the essence. Eastern Europe has a wealth of industries, the majority of which are in need of overhauling or modernization. They will first target the most critical industries, such as power plants and oil refineries. Malers will work closely with Automatic Service and the new
