What is everyones favorite penny stock that you think has the greatest potential to make it out of the basement someday?
Please be realistic and not list stocks like cmkx, prrm, mlon, and qant. I am talking about stocks that have a real chance, not dreams. Hopefully I will get to start some serious DD by weeks end and like to have a starting point. Hopefully family member gets out of hospital by then and I can look to make some money. I want a stock that I don't need to worry about daytrading.
One that I have interest in is ONEV but I am behind on DD so any thoughts on it? But any good pick is helpful.

obviously CNES has a great chance...they are a real company with a real product that the US government (strictest in the world) has given the OK and that same product is the first in a much needed field.

It's so hard to say. I guess it comes down to if you really believe the line that these companies feed you. There's so many that make such great promises and none, and I mean literally none of them, wind up happening. How many penny stocks out there right now are A: curing a major disease, or B: moving to a higher exchange, or C: mining precious minerals, or D: in late stage developments of the next "be all end all" product? Every one of them and none of them see it through to fruition if their claims were real in the first place. It's all about the momentum that comes about with news releases and the like. So to answer your question in a very long winded manner, I'd say none.

I agree Upside, just been out of game for a little over a month with wife in hospital. Wanted a good start for DD work this week so I can get back into the game as fast as possible. Thats why dd is so important but also the board can give you a good starting point. I think the best way to start is to look at the dilution factor and whether they keep the investor informed on O/S, float, and progress. One thing I have learned is never hold a sub-penny or penny that doesn't report overnight. You will probably be burnt.

Old news but good news. Outside acquisitions,50% increase in ceramic revenues, and another promising area in CNT (Carbon NanoTube)technology!
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., Feb 7, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The CEO of Cetek Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets:CTKH) today issued the following statement:
We take this opportunity to briefly report on our status of operations, as is customary, reflecting the fourth quarter of 2004.
Sales revenues grew, with this most recent quarter being the best yet, in terms of production and shipment of our proprietary ceramic substrate product. The 12 inch substrate material continues to sell exceptionally well; so well, in fact, that capacity to produce at the order flow rate is a challenge, and is an issue that we are dealing with. In this regard, we expect additional production capacity to be added shortly -- a result of increasing existing plant operations, as well as in gaining additional capacity as a result of outside acquisitions.
I previously indicated that our growth would be from internal expansion, as well as external, via acquisition of manufacturing companies with similar synergies. We've had the opportunity to analyze and inspect the books and physical operation of numerous target companies, which would enhance Cetek's overall business model and we have, in fact, been in ongoing negotiations.
Regarding our financial health, I am pleased to report that Cetek again made money. Specifically, we realized a 50% increase in ceramic revenues over the previous period.
Cetek Technologies is moving forward on its numerous growth prospects for 2005 and beyond. In the commercial sector, "nano emissive display" technology, or NED's, enable manufacturers to design large flat panel displays that exceed the image quality characteristics of plasma and LCD screens, but at a much lower cost. We're very interested in this application, as we have what we believe is a superior material for this type of product. NED technology could be used for much larger displays, such as those used in billboard advertising or sporting events, and our process could potentially have a role in this area.
Another promising area is in CNT (Carbon NanoTube)technology. CNTs are tubes of carbon atoms less than a nanometer in diameter, possessing a combination of unique properties making them highly programmable for a variety of purposes, including electron emitters for flat panel displays, an important area of interest for the Company.
In closing, I thank all shareholders for their continued support, and we look forward to keeping shareholders informed of our efforts in developing Cetek into a significant player in its industry, while striving to build shareholder value.

Rich735, Not knocking CTKH by any means because I know nothing about it but that p/r is exactly what I was talking about. Look at what they deem their growth prospects for 2005. "Nano Emissive Displays" and "Carbon Nano Tubes". I'd bet my last dollar that neither of these technologies ever comes to market. However the momentum that can be garnered by a p/r like this is what pays off here. Something like this released at the right time by the right company could send it spiraling upwards for days. To me anyway that's what pennys are all about, momentum, not real products.

Yi Wan Group Opens First Outlet in New 'Diyikou' Fast-Food Chain in Beijing
New Brand Designed to Strengthen Yi Wan Position in Hotel-Restaurant Sector Second Outlet on Track to Open this Month
Thursday , August 26, 2004 08:30 ET
NEW YORK, Aug 26, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Yi Wan Group, Inc. (OTC Bulleitn Board: YIWA), a Foreign Invested Enterprise company based in Henan Province, China, announced today that the company held the grand opening of the first outlet in its new "Diyikou" brand fast-food chain in Beijing on July 22, 2004.
Located in the Qian Men district of Beijing, the restaurant launches the company's new business segment, which is designed to leverage Yi Wan's broad culinary expertise in Beijing's high-growth fast-food marketplace and strengthen the company's position in the hotel-restaurant sector.
A second Diyikou outlet is scheduled to open in the Xi-Zhi Men district on August 24, 2004. Both districts are among Beijing's busiest areas, with foot traffic of more than 40 persons per minute.
Yi Wan expects to open similar fast-food restaurants in Beijing and Shanghai over the next five years. The Diyikou chain makes Yi Wan an early mover in a trend described in The Wall Street Journal, August 4, 2004, as blending Chinese-style cuisines with Western-style chain management, service and hygiene.
Beijing's fast food industry generates approximately US$3 billion (RMB 24 billion) in annual revenue, according to the Beijing Bureau of Commerce, and the trend is expected to accelerate during the 2008 Olympics. American fast-food chains such as McDonald's, Pizza Hut and KFC have multiplied in Beijing in recent years, and a few Chinese companies have started chains based on Western business principles but offering Chinese cuisines including Yoshinori and Sichuan food. Yi Wan believes it is the first to focus on Hong Kong-style food distinguished by fresh ingredients and high-quality preparation.
Said Cheng Wan Ming, President and Chairman of Yi Wan Group, "Our new Diyikou restaurants are opening on schedule, and our special focus on Hong Kong-style food is attracting a good audience. We believe our cuisine and style as well as the quality of our management and service will enable us to stand out in Beijing's booming fast-food marketplace."
Yi Wan has developed broad culinary and management expertise for its hotels in the cities of Jiaozuo and Qinyang in Henan province. A new fast-food R&D center, training center and food supply facility is temporarily located in its flagship Jiaozuo Yi Wan Hotel.
Noted Mr. Cheng, "By bringing our expertise to Beijing, a city of 30 million people, we intend to broaden and strengthen Yi Wan's position in the hotel-restaurant business sector."

..VFIN..PROFITABLE last 6 quarters ...this is a real company, it is not a target for pump and dump, the company is to strong for that kind of thing. If you buy this company, you don't have to sell within an hour or so.Hold it long, hold it short does not seem to matter. It just keeps climbing and holds its value after you by it.IMHO
