It is also on the SHO list... the depression in price is also caused by this.

Forrest, I do believe that you are correct on this one. Based on the charts and the fact that it is holding its price in the down market on no news leads me to believe that a bit of "good" news could make this pop up.... not sure how much but I think that would depend on the news.

Still looks OK on the charts but you're right about not being able to call it one way or the other... nothing stands out as strong signal one way or the other. I still think that it is the lack of news that preventing anything. It's in a holding pattern waiting for some news to come out... wasn't there somthing about an acquisition a while back??? I'm not so sure it fell through since the price has been holding and volume has been so low. If it had I would have expected a sell-off on higher volume.??? Am I wrong on that assumption?

Well Forrest... Chart still looks okay to me. Narrow Bolinger bands still in place. Still on the SHO list... Low volume with support at what seems like 0.0018 There must be something behind the scene holding this stock at this range or the price would be falling on the absolute lack of news?? Not sure how reliable smallcapcenter is but this is what they have.

Old news but good news. Outside acquisitions,50% increase in ceramic revenues, and another promising area in CNT (Carbon NanoTube)technology!
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y., Feb 7, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- The CEO of Cetek Technologies, Inc., (Pink Sheets:CTKH) today issued the following statement:
We take this opportunity to briefly report on our status of operations, as is customary, reflecting the fourth quarter of 2004.
Sales revenues grew, with this most recent quarter being the best yet, in terms of production and shipment of our proprietary ceramic substrate product. The 12 inch substrate material continues to sell exceptionally well; so well, in fact, that capacity to produce at the order flow rate is a challenge, and is an issue that we are dealing with. In this regard, we expect additional production capacity to be added shortly -- a result of increasing existing plant operations, as well as in gaining additional capacity as a result of outside acquisitions.
I previously indicated that our growth would be from internal expansion, as well as external, via acquisition of manufacturing companies with similar synergies. We've had the opportunity to analyze and inspect the books and physical operation of numerous target companies, which would enhance Cetek's overall business model and we have, in fact, been in ongoing negotiations.
Regarding our financial health, I am pleased to report that Cetek again made money. Specifically, we realized a 50% increase in ceramic revenues over the previous period.
Cetek Technologies is moving forward on its numerous growth prospects for 2005 and beyond. In the commercial sector, "nano emissive display" technology, or NED's, enable manufacturers to design large flat panel displays that exceed the image quality characteristics of plasma and LCD screens, but at a much lower cost. We're very interested in this application, as we have what we believe is a superior material for this type of product. NED technology could be used for much larger displays, such as those used in billboard advertising or sporting events, and our process could potentially have a role in this area.
Another promising area is in CNT (Carbon NanoTube)technology. CNTs are tubes of carbon atoms less than a nanometer in diameter, possessing a combination of unique properties making them highly programmable for a variety of purposes, including electron emitters for flat panel displays, an important area of interest for the Company.
In closing, I thank all shareholders for their continued support, and we look forward to keeping shareholders informed of our efforts in developing Cetek into a significant player in its industry, while striving to build shareholder value.

I really wonder if people aren't waiting until they can get higher quality flat panel displays for less. From what I've seen the LCD's don't offer the brightness or clarity from almost any angle that plasma does, but they last a lot longer than plasma without degrading substantially.
As I understand it, the CNT based displays will both be clearer, last longer, and use less energy than either of the other technologies. I just hope it's not to long before CTKH is acknowledged as a leader in the development of CNT based displays.

I agree.... I hope that they will be acknowledged on at least some level as a supplier. The Charts still look good but for some reason there is serious resistance at the .002 price. Not sure why but every time it hits that number it seems to drop back to .0019 or 18 (support level). Even if it closes at .002 it closes the next day lower instead of higher... even with a 100 day MA climbing higher... any ideas on this Forrest???? You've been watching it a lot longer than I. Still on the SHO list.... wish they would do a bit of PR on something... I kind of think this should be floating around at least the .005-.006 level...

Folks, this is a GREAT long term stock. Check the search feature on this one, there is alot of great DD.
The biggest reason for the long position is that around the company facility there is planned a HUGE nanotech industrial park with rumors of the big boys comming in.
The reason for this not running is that it is a pinky and they report no financials or stockholder equity.

BM to lead $2.5 billion N.Y. tech development By Rex Crum, CBS.MarketWatch.com Last Update: 5:49 PM ET Jan. 6, 2005 E-mail it | Print | Alert | Reprint | RSS
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS.MW) - The state of New York got a boost Wednesday with plans by IBM Corp. to lead a group of technology giants to invest a total $2.5 billion to develop the state's nanotechnology and semiconductor industries. The announcement was made by New York Gov. George Pataki during his annual State of the State Message in Albany, N.Y. As part of the projects, IBM (IBM: news, chart, profile), along with Sony Corp. (SNE: news, chart, profile), Infineon Technologies (IFX: news, chart, profile), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD: news, chart, profile), Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing (CHRT: news, chart, profile), Samsung and Toshiba will invest $1.9 billion in developing and manufacturing for nanotechnology in East Fishkill, N.Y.
Under the plans, Sony will invest in IBM's new 300-millimeter wafer chipmaking plant, and IBM and the other companies will work on joint development of other semiconductor programs.
In addition to the companies' investments, the state of New York will commit $150 million to the projects, which are expected to create 750 new jobs in the Hudson Valley region.
IBM will also head up another group that will invest $450 million to expand the Albany Center of Excellence in Nanoelectronics research and development capabilities. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fishkill...That's not that far away from Cetek! Good neighbours to have maybe.

Website is up this morning. I still like this stock but it is really having stiff resistance at the .002 level. Just can't seem to make it past it. Maybe this will be the week. The website does show the Hybrid-Tek inc, logo with the Cetek logo??

Well as we mentioned before, the Website was down due to the aquisition issues.... seems like that is now water under the bridge. This could be an interesting week I think.... it is back on the SHO list again after being off it last week. Volume was decent and it broke a few MA's.
