Intrepid Technology Starts Building Second Methane Gas Plant
Thursday January 27, 10:14 am ET

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. (ITR) a renewable energy company (OTC Bulletin Board: IESV - News) announces it has signed the agreements to design and build their second methane production facility. This renewable energy production plant will be built on the 6000 head WestPoint Dairy near Wendell, Idaho.
Financing for the 3.3 million dollar facility has been arranged, preliminary design is complete and site preparation is underway. ITR will own and operate the plant with the WestPoint Dairy granting a 20-year lease on the property in exchange for ITR processing the approximate 20 million tons of annual animal waste that the dairy produces. The WestPoint Dairy will retain the mineral rich liquid effluent and solid material that remains after processing. ITR will also provide the dairy with additional engineering services that maximize the effectiveness of the operation to the dairy.

The WestPoint Dairy facility along with the nearly completed Whiteside Dairy facility will be capable of producing over 100 million cubic feet (100 billion BTUs of energy) per year -- or enough to supply the average natural gas needs of nearly 1,000 homes. ITR will begin construction in the 4th quarter of 2005 and the WestPoint biogas plant will begin operation in 2006.

Mr. Edwin Southfield of WestPoint Dairy stated, "I believe that Intrepid's solution to the waste issues surrounding our business carries substantial long term financial benefits for us and other large dairies. We have long prided ourselves on maintaining an operation that uses state of the art technology and processes while being an environmentally friendly neighbor. This new plant assists us in maintaining that tradition while maximizing our financial return from the dairy."

Dr. Dennis Keiser, ITR's Chairman, commented, "Today is the first in a series of events that our recently completed financing package allows us to engage in. This is also the second step in our Company's goal to have 250,000 head of dairy cattle under production within 5 years. ITR has gained a wealth of technical and operational data and experience from our first, recently completed, methane production facility that will prove invaluable in constructing and operating this new plant."

About Intrepid Technology: We are an applications innovator of Biogas products and services designed to assist in national energy independence and reduced pollution. All of these products are from renewable agriculture feedstock and industrial and agriculture waste materials.

Just an opinion RE; IESV....
It's been a long journey for an old "Stock Trader" such as myself. Lord knows patience is NOT one of my strongest points. I even gave up and sold the DAY BEFORE this latest funding news hit!! lolololol.
....but hit it did, and now I've bought back more than I sold. he he.
Looking from a different perspective, I can see how all this went down. In other words, if ITR hadn't secured the Cornell funding, I doubt they would have even been considered for the "Bond Financing" It showed they we're for real. That someone WAS willing to lay a large sum on the line to support these projects. (even if it WAS Cornell. lol)
Now ITR has a total of $45MILLION to draw from. GOOD NIGHT!! That's a TON of money!! That'll build some digeters, but then I digress into celebration. hahahaha.
Anyway, I wanted to let others know, it's been the managment team that has truley shown the patience. I don't know HOW in the world they do it. Keep information under wraps as it's being finalized, I mean. Heck, I would be wanting to tell EVERYONE!! lolol. But not them. They wait until it's "Set in Stone" before releasing it. Good Job!! That's a GREAT way to avoid the, "Ooooops, it just didn't work out" stuff.
NOW ITR is set up well. Yeah a few of us have waited nerviously. Watching as "The seller" kept the PPS so low, we ALL wondered if we'd EVER see a bump!! Now THAT'S near over also. Last I heard that account was well under a million shares.....
I'll be honest, I can see this PPS at well over a buck in late 2005. Anywhere between $1.00 and $10.00 is well within reason, me thinks.
Now I know that's a BIG cliam, but any one that knows me, knows I MAY be wrong, but would NEVER post anything I didn't really believe. If it doesn't make my prediction, so be it. If it does...see ya as a debt free old man in the future!!!
YeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwww.
Tell the world!!!

Intrepid Secures Bond Financing
Thursday February 3, 1:49 pm ET

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, Feb. 3, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. (ITR) (OTC BB:IESV.OB - News), a renewable energy company, announces that the Industrial Development Corporation of Gooding County, Idaho has approved an Inducement Resolution for a maximum of $20 million bonds issuance for the company's biogas facilities. Industrial Development Corporations have the authority to issue bonds for projects that provide significant benefits to surrounding communities.

ITR will utilize the bond authority and low interest rates to finance facilities located within Gooding, Lincoln, Twin Falls and Jerome Counties. Those new facilities will be additional anaerobic digester plants designed for the production of methane gas, as well as a collection pipeline and gas conditioning equipment. ITR has just completed the first Methane production plant near Rupert, Idaho and will start on the second plant in spring near Wendell, Idaho.

The four Idaho counties covered by the industrial revenue bond are home to over 300,000 head of dairy cattle. The financing, if fully utilized, would allow ITR to place approximately 100,000 head of cattle into the production of Methane gas, a significant step in its overall business plan.

Dr. Dennis Keiser, ITR Chairman, noted that ``this type of tax exempt, below commercial interest rate financing, allows ITR an exceptional opportunity to expand and execute our business model and concurrently build our balance sheet and increase our revenue stream at a much faster rate than we would be capable of utilizing traditional financing.''

Gooding County is authorized by the provisions of law contained in Title 50, chapter 27 of the Idaho code to issue and have sold tax-exempt bonds that will generate economic benefits to the issuing counties that comprise the Industrial Development Corporation.

About Intrepid Technology: We are a leader in Methane to Market technology and production and an application innovator of Biogas products and services designed to assist in worldwide energy independence and reduce pollution from renewable agriculture feedstock and industrial and agriculture waste materials.

I can vouch for the validity of this company, since it is right here in idaho, where I live. I also know that the DoE has funding for alternative fuels research and there have been news reports in regard to building new processing plants to use the leftover grain stocks from the barley and grain fields to supplement the farmers in the area (I believe it is some Idaho farmers council?)... The potential here is great. Weather they produce methane or ethanol for gas additive supplement...either one is a big dollar business.

I see this stock as been undervalued right now! Thanks to those who brought this forward to the group!

I will look to get in as soon as some funds free up!

NEWS!!....
Intrepid Begins Commercial Use of Bio Gas
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, Feb. 9, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc. (ITR) (OTCBB:IESV), a renewable energy company, is now producing combustible gas from ITR's flagship bioreactor.

ITR today announced that the Methane gas being produced at the Whitesides bioreactor located near Rupert, Idaho is now being used as process heat in the anaerobic digester replacing previously utilized expensive propane.

ITR President Dr. Keiser stated, "This is obviously a significant step in demonstrating the commercial viability of our Methane to market technology where clean gas is produced and sold for residential, industrial or transportation applications. This technology and our proprietary processes and this first use of our gas bring us significantly closer to actual gas sales. The hydrogen sulfide equipment is working exceptionally well and the biogas being produced is absolutely odorless after processing."

Dr. Keiser also noted that four of the six Directors of the company have purchased over one million five hundred thousand shares of the company's common stock over the last 60 days. Over the last 2 years no officer or Director of the company has engaged in any sales. "This is again a validation of the confidence that the companies decision makers are placing in our goal of becoming a significant part of the nations drive towards energy independence through alternate energy sources."

About Intrepid Technology: We are a leader in Methane to Market technology and production and an application innovator of Biogas products and services designed to assist in worldwide energy independence and reduce pollution from renewable agriculture feedstock and industrial and agriculture waste materials.

02/09/05 New funding for Idaho gas producing firm By: Bill Scott
February 9, 2005

There are some who don’t believe that an Idaho Falls based company can turn cow manure into a saleable methane gas. That’s exactly what Intrepid Technology and Research is doing at the Whitesides Dairy in Rupert. Now, the Industrial Development Corporation of Gooding County is preparing to issue 20 million dollars in tax-free bonds for the company’s biogas facilities. ITR President Dennis Keiser wants to build more anaerobic digesters in Gooding, Lincoln, Twin Falls and Jerome counties, plus a collecting pipeline and storage facility.
KEISER –“Intrepid Technology and Resources will provide the equity base, that 20 to 40 percent equity base, and then we’ll use these industrial revenue bonds to debt finance these plants.”

The four Idaho counties covered by the industrial revenue bond are home to over 300,000 dairy cattle. If fully utilized the financing would allow ITR to put about 100,000 head of cattle into the production of methane gas. Keiser’s company plans to begin work on a second, much larger digester complex at the Westpoint Dairy in Wendell.

KEISER –“And then we’ll tie in dairies in between these anchor locations. And we’re talking to other dairymen right now that are sufficient size that they can anchor the pipeline.”

I've been in this one for awhile.

They have perfected a simple process that is being used in remote, isolated areas of China--natural gas from manure.

We have an increasing demand for energy -- especially environmental friendly energy. They can turn manure into gas on a much larger scale with profit.

It is definitely a "green" process--no shortage of the raw material from cattle that is being used to produce the gas!

Hope pig and chicken farms as well as city sewage systems will eventually go this route too.

Can you imagine the potential?
