I can tell you to buy why I sell, that's what brokerages do everyday!!! As long as I don't say "Buy because of ABC", then I'm ok. But I can tell the entire world to go out and buy Lucent because I think it's the greatest company in the world and meanwhile, short it.
I'm not part of the securities industry anymore, therefore, it's just an opinion.

I think this is a tremendous idea that I, along with others I am sure, have thought about on a few occasions. I will stay tuned for further plans but I am certainly on board with this plan.

I'm interested, we would need get together collectively. Set up an actual plan and do some trial and error. If it works great, if not we tried and chalk it off to experiance. The trouble would be finding enough people that would follow the plan exactly.

I agree with CASH....the hard part isnt picking a stock (Only a quick glance at some profiles and stats but I think most of these suggestions will do), the hard part will be organizing all potential parties and forming a plan that will be carried out fully and honestly. I think this issue should be tackled first before a stock can be collectively chosen. Just a suggestion...either way im in.

the hardest part is gonna be for everybody to get in without running the price up.....i run screeners looking for this activity all the time, and the MM's KNOW....it takes quite a while to accumulate alot of shares without running up the PPS.....

Listen, I'm telling you. As long as someone doesn't go aroudn saying "Stock ABC is going to the moon because they came out with the cure for cancer", there is not such thing as legal manipulation. I can sit here and pump any stock I want and day trade it also.
If you're a sucker for listening without doing your DD, then it's your fault

i'm no lawyer , but most laws are built on common sense...don't lie...and be prepared to answer questions honestly to the law...if they ask..ASSUME they will...
all of the "groups" you hear about are doing it....

The newest of new guys...I've been watching and learning about pennies for a couple months now, and have to say, this is the best board around .One of my first buys was RDXM, it made me some good gain a couple of weeks ago buying at .0023 and selling at .004 and .0045. Did that a couple times.

Repoman75, i'll look into the legalities of it and post tomorrow. We need to find a list of people that are truely interested and willing to do this once the plans are laid out. First we need to find out the legalities, which i don't think is a problem but it could be, then get the people together crunch the numbers and see how we are going to make this work, then find the stock and date we will execute.

There are many groups that do a "morning push" everyone all in at once etc... this ends up being a pump and dump (sometimes not) if something runs up a 100% or more in a day, obviously it will come down even if it is from news.
There is a small groupt that accumulated CNES in November and I bet some held till today although i'm sure some sold.
This same group annonced AACS today, but after the news run up. They announced at .026/27 and i know group members who bought as low as .025.
The problem is you can't control people. If everyone bought on the ask with that alert, the price would've artificially gone up and come down quick.
I have seen this happen with these picks. But usually they are accumulated Tech plays. I don't want to advertise these people but if your interested just click my name over in hotstocks.
Some DD is provided, but its always up to you to figure out your play and what you are comfortable with.
i've wondered for some time why with all our members, skilled chart makers and quick DD we didn't have an "investment club". ~BB
