I was thinking, since we are looking for plays that we can capitalize on the deaths of people I would like to throw some plays out that I believe will make us all some good money at the misfortune of others. I am really partial to HEAD. They manufacture these really dull long sabres that are good for slowly cutting off people's heads. Right now the chart is showing an inverted head and shoulders but I think it will just be showing shoulders soon. I think it will be good for a quick scalp for you day traders. Also looking at at COFIN. They manufacture boxes that dead people go into. I heard there is a really big demand for it in Indonesia and Asia right now. Could be a real killer play. If anyone has any more plays let us know so we can prosper off all these dead people. I mean there already dead, we might as well make some money off of them right? YOU PEOPLE POSTING ON THE TSUNAMI BOARD ARE A BUNCH OF PUKES! I HOPE YOU LOSE EVERY DOLLAR YOU GOT IN 2005! BOB, I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU ARE LETTING THREAD STAY UP THERE. POOR TASTE AND JUDGEMENT. OK, BAN ME NOW!

Maybe a red cross thread would be better. Profit off dead people is still profit off dead people. Justify it all you want, but it is EVIL.

Scotty, you contribute nothing to this board. You have made your short sighted and narrow minded point very clear already. And many of us have already given you our answer. One of the things you still fail to see is that many of the stocks we are buying have products which will help the relief, rescue, and tsunami prevention efforts. There is nothing evil about that. So please shut your mouth now. Thanks!

Completely agreed. We are not taking advantage of what happened, but if there is an opportunity to profit from some stocks that have thiesrPPS increase becasue their servcies are in demand and THEY ARE SAVING LIVES, why not make a profit and donate it the needdy, thereby helping the suffering. If you could make some money from trading a stock that happened to have thier PPS increase due to their demand of their potentially live saving services/products, and then use that profit to save a life, wouldn't that be considered making the best of a terrible situation. Or would you just rather let thaht person die rather than investing in a good company providing good products that can help the sufferering and reduce additional lives loss. Don't be so closed minded!!

The bottom line is this. People are here to make money. Certain people have more linient moral and ethical values to making money. When a human disaster causes certain people to see dollar signs, that is an example of poor ethics. SO, crashoverride and tryintobe, you guys can make your money but you're are lucky you're dealing with an anonomous message board because if you were around people who knew you, you would look like a real scumbag to them.

Everyone has a different bottom line. I'll agree that to actively seek out profit at the cost of human suffering is wrong but come on, buying tsunami related stocks that might benefit from a reconstruction is wrong? Give me a break. Scotty, you're comparing profiting from the beheading of innocent people to an unfortunate, albeit horrible, natural disaster. Big difference there. If you find that morally reprehensible then you're in the wrong game. When opportunity knocks, you've got to be ready to grab at it, within reason of course.
