Just a fast observation. They were late filing 10sqb and just got it filed 12/01 so they lost the "E" and they are back in compliance with SEC. If that helps. Did read financials good enough to tell how solid they are but that would be a good start if you want to invest.

Rumored to have big news, that's why I think we saw increased volume... picked up a small position.

Was in this for about 3 months. Never did anything exciting at all. finally sold it at a small loss. Check out history and charts first before investing and see for yourself. No bashing, just a caution flag...

AWBI is in the Wi-Fi business. WiFi is short for Wireless Fidelity. It's those "hotspots" that one finds at coffee shops, airports, hotels, marinas etc. that allow one to access the internet without plugging into anything. Another WiFi play is ICOA trading at 9 cents today. I picked up 460K of AWBI today ot .0003. Another bluelight special.

I posted this on the ICOA thread as well.

The Unconventional Wisdom
WiFi is ubiquitous, with a reputation of being the "disruptive" grassroots technology that is winning the day. But much of WiFi's momentum comes from the entrenched PC industry -- firms like Hewlett Packard (nyse: HPQ - news - people ), Microsoft (nasdaq: MSFT - news - people ) and Intel (nasdaq: INTC - news - people ) that want you to keep buying PCs and laptops. 3G wireless networks, which are in many ways superior to WiFi and widely used in Asia, will roll out in more than 30 U.S. cities by year end. Imagine not having to search for a WiFi hotspot but instead having wireless access anywhere in say New York City or Chicago. The big beneficiaries will be companies like Verizon Wireless and Qualcomm.

Since January 2001, WiFi product and service companies have raised more than $1 billion in venture capital. This milestone, reached earlier this month, demonstrates the investment community's remarkably positive bias toward WiFi amid an otherwise sluggish period for technology-focused venture investment. Venture capitalists are betting that WiFi will be more akin to successful and enduring technologies like Ethernet than to flame-out technologies like WAP.

Did any of you know that AWBI (formerly IBII) is fully reporting to the sec?

They have 80 filings on file including 3 in 2005 alone.
