I was looking through dogs tutorial and in one of them ,i quote ,he states that " When I come to a stock showing large trade volume, good gain, ask higher than current price, I have a winner. If both bid/ask are higher than current price, I have a monster."
I understand the second statement but when he says "ask higher then current price" did he really mean to say bid? becuase isnt the ask always higher then the current price?
I am newbie here so i could be wrong but if thats the case,ask higher then current price, can someone please explain to me why?

Oh thanks for sharing Dardogs tutorials. i just emailed you right now. Oh and 1 more thing SGt., do you use Otccharts and follow dardogs methods?
