I have seen dardadog mention several times that he is developing an Excel template that spits out winners. Does anyone else have experience using Excel as an analysis tool? I wonder if this provides a significant advantage over using the numerous websites available for screening? If you google "excel stock analysis" there are several companies eager to sell you their excel add-in.....but is it a simple template that requires you to then import data? Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with Excel and if it helps you in your war against the market. Below is an older article discussing the potential use of Excel in stock analysis. Thanks!

I created my own Excel program to keep track of how much I make or lose per week and month in the markets. I also have how much I am currently up year to date. I use it mainly just to see where I stand at financially in the markets. I am not that familiar with it though but will be doing some serious studying real soon on Excel and hopefully even create my own Excel program to track the way stocks run. If you really pay attention to these pennies especially during the day they tend to have similiar trading patterns day in and day out. Like I said I am gonna study up more on Excel and even try to have a little something created by Christmas.
