There are a lot of crappy stocks out there. However this stock should be considered for the honor of the worst penny stock of 2004. Gway, GFYI, AFRT deserve honorable mention

How's this for an investment? Initial purchase of 800,000 shares for approx. $500.00, reversed down to 800 shares with a current value of 8 cents, now it will be reversed down to 4/10ths of a share which will basically be worth .00004 cents after the fall back to .0001. Not too bad eh? $500.00 down to .00004 cents in a few months time.

I don't know Wallace. With that one I've retained some of my money, at least for now anyway. I've got a feeling that it will probably be up there on the list soon though.

Can't even sell the worthless crap. If they change symbols it will cost me $20 to have nothing. This was a real gem of a deal. Just in case that first kick missed your nuts, UpMan, they wanted to make sure you were doubled over in pain. I didn't have as much as you did, but I feel your pain, brother.

I've seen a lot of people talk about a $20.00 charge but to the best of my knowledge, I was never charged. Could it be up to the brokerage house? I'm with Ameritrade.

I'm with Ameritrade also and they charged me. Oh well I always said at least if I picked the wrong stock I could only lose what I put in, this one proved me wrong. LOL

How did they charge you? I've confirmed that nothing was removed from my account and all of my sells since then have been right, the full amount less the 10.99 commission.

Mine is a similar case, only with 900$ and 2 million shares to start with.

But I am thankful to LSTA, GFYI, PCOR, ACSJ and a bunch of others on whom I lost a lot of money in the last few months due to R/S, because this has made me stop investment in pennies and concentrate on good companies and in the last 3 weeks I have started getting back part of my losses by dealing in real companies like IMNR, TMTA etc and gaining.

Lessons learnt, you have more chances of winning in Las vegas than in pennies. IMHO

Yep, I agree, the chances of coming out ahead here are pretty slim. It seems to be either hit it big or lose it all. It's fun though and as long as it's play money you're using, it's no big deal. I've got a hunch though that there's a lot of people who have no other savings or investments and are banking their future on the pennies. That's scary.

Very true what you said upside I know I have been hammered this summer and am glad I only have a couple of percent of my money here as play money but the thrill is just not there with large caps and funds, you'll never see a 300% run on GE or Hd like I caught on CWON monday.

To answer your question on how Ameritrade charged me on the reverce split. I was down to only about 5.00 in cash and they took that and sent me an e mail to deposit funds or they would sell enough of my stock to cover because I had a negative balance.

Tony,
I truly wish you the best. Don't know you from Adam but I'd say you're deserving of hitting the big one more so than most. I don't envy your current situation and hope something does hit big for you to give you a boost. Okay, that's enough of the softer side of Upside. Back to the negative b.s.!
