Wall Street News Alert: Aggressive Traders Alert! October 21, 2004
10/21/2004 3:50:37 AM
Weston, FLA., Oct 21, 2004 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- Wall Street News Alert`s "stocks to watch" this morning are: Environmental Technologies International Inc. ( EMTI ), Apple Computer, Inc. ( AAPL ), Teradyne, Incorporated ( TER ), XM Satellite Radio Hold. ( XMSR ) and Cetek Technologies Inc. ( CTKH ).

Aggressive investors and traders will want to watch Environmental Technologies International Inc. ( EMTI ) this morning! Yesterday after the markets closed, the company issued a press release announcing that it certified installations of its proprietary 'AWE' building-environment system are expected to economically facilitate assured compliance with the most stringent standards and building codes, and will even meet higher standards than those demanded by current codes, in ensuring the maintenance of Indoor Air Quality, or 'IAQ'.

This could be more good news for investors! Comprehensive, leading edge standards & guidelines for HVAC (heating, ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems evolve continually to meet new challenges and improve lifestyles, and are the basis for state HVAC building codes throughout the country. In this new age of Sick Building Syndrome (SBS), Building Related Illness (BRI), and litigation concerning the effects of indoor mold, there can be no doubt that HVAC standards and building codes will increasingly become more stringent in the foreseeable future. The AWE system is expected to significantly enhance building/property values through its superior building-environment system, which also saves energy costs and supplies high-purity water.

The Company's AWE technology has the demonstrated ability to virtually eliminate building mold and, by improving ventilation, significantly reduce the amount of pollutants in a building's 'atmosphere'. It will materially improve Indoor Air Quality with a system that will significantly reduce electrical costs, thus paying for its installation in the near term, and lowering overall building operating costs over the long term.

Investors watch this one! The press release also states that By surpassing all requirements for maintaining a high level of IAQ (on retrofit of existing buildings) while simultaneously lowering costs of electricity, management intends to focus its marketing program on the ability of AWE-based systems to improve compliance with all modern HVAC codes, lower electricity costs and, potentially, insurance costs (e.g. against the health risks of mold, etc.), while enhancing property values.

The stock closed yesterday just under Five cents a share.

Stocks showing interesting activity yesterday at the close of the regular trading day were: Apple Computer, Inc. ( AAPL ) up 0.1% on 10.7 million shares traded, Teradyne, Inc. ( TER ) up 5.7% on 8.6 million shares traded, XM Satellite Radio Hold. ( XMSR ) up 0.3% on 8.7 million shares traded and Cetek Technologies Inc. ( CTKH ) up 42.8% on 90.3 million shares traded.

Commentary: "New applications for U.S. mortgages for both refinancing and home purchases climbed last week, as most mortgage rates fell from the previous week, an industry group said on Wednesday. The Mortgage Bankers Association said its seasonally adjusted market index, a measure of overall mortgage activity, rose 7.90 percent to 709.9 for the week to Oct. 15 from the previous week's 658.2," Stated Mario Cardenas in Wall Street News Alert`s daily commentary continued at: http://www.***********************.
