SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Wireless Systems, Inc. (OTC: AWSS) announces today the signing of a definitive license agreement with HERITAGE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. As part of the agreement, AWSS acquired the exclusive marketing rights for the ultra high-speed wireless data transfer technology and voice over internet protocol from HERITAGE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. The license is for a term of 5 years and is renewable for ten successive terms of one year each. The license is exclusive for the continental United States (excluding the State of Idaho). As part of the transaction AWSS will receive all gross revenue from sales and marketing and retain all ownership of the customers it acquires. AWSS will pay Heritage a royalty of 60% of the adjusted gross income. In the agreement, the adjusted gross income is defined as gross income less cost of sales, telecommunication expenses, bandwidth fees, VOIP purchase and termination costs. Heritage Communications is a WIFI company offering ultra high-speed wireless Internet access and Voice Over Internet Protocol, (VOIP) and Video-on-Demand service at Internet speeds of 45 Megabytes per second (upload and download) for approximately $40.00 per month. Heritage has tested and proven intellectual property, proprietary equipment, software, and systems. Heritage President and CEO David Thayne stated: "We are very pleased with the signing of this definitive agreement with AWSS.
