Empyrean Communications Inc. Reports Acquisition of Basalt Specialty Products, Inc. near Finalization Wednesday June 16, 9:51 am ET
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 16, 2004--Empyrean Communications Inc. (OTCBB:EPYR - News) announces that talks to acquire all of the shares of Basalt Specialty Products, Inc. (BSP), a NC corporation, through a stock swap, have been completed. The definitive terms for this acquisition that will make BSP a wholly owned subsidiary have been finalized and the acquisition agreement will be signed within the next 3 to 4 weeks. BSP has leased a factory and offices, totaling 22,750 sq. feet located at 600 E. Main Street, Elkin, NC 28621 and holds $180,000 of raw materials in inventory.

Empyrean Communications, Inc.'s principal business is for its wholly owned subsidiary, Basalt Fiber Company, to manufacture continuous fiber products for resale in the world market. The Company claims Basalt Fiber can effectively replace fiberglass in all its applications.

I agree. Looks like a slow runner. Better that way, T.MM (TERRORIST MM) will overlook it since they go for more transaction and volume stocks.

HOUSTON, Jul 15, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Empyrean Communications Inc. (OTCBB:EPYR) is pleased to announce that its new website - http://www.epyr.com - is now functional to serve its shareholders and all other interested parties more efficiently. This website has a temporary link to Basalt Specialty Products, Inc. (BSP), which is soon to become a wholly owned subsidiary.
To be fair to both parties, it has been decided that the acquisition agreement will be signed only after the necessary machinery deliveries to the BSP factory at Elkin, N.C. have been confirmed with the suppliers. All efforts are being made to have this finalized within the next two to three weeks.

I've been monitoring the board for a few weeks now, and have really learned a lot of great stuff from many people here, i.e Dardadog, novocain, etc. Most everyone on the board rocks! Finally got the urge to post.
Been following EPYR and I'm in at .018. I've done some DD on this and I really believe its got a shot. Just wanted some thoughts about having .018 as an entry point. Thx.

Right now, on L2, MM have setup a trap. They build at bid with a big gap from ask. Since volume is low, they will wait for people to sell out...but those really holding are not taking the price down. If you keep watching L2, you'll see that most of transaction are going between bid and ask. Many MM getting them without raising price at bid. When they can't get them, they slowly raise price.
It's a game you can watch all day...one thing for sure, Ask is wide spread and it wouldn't take much to have a good run.
