educate yourself. dont be greedy. learn to control your emotions. don't base your investments off of message boards. keep educating yourself. take profits. sell your losers. have a plan. create your own style of trading. set an exit and stick to it. dont chase (there will always be another stock). do the due. learn to read financial statements. dont depend on others to do your dd. look at macroeconomics (the bigger picture) as well as micro. dont fall in love with a stock. only gamble what you can afford to lose. have fun.

Very good advice so far! Let me just add this. Do NOT listen to people who say things like "sell now, I can't tell you why" or "buy now, no time to waste!" and then provide NO other details. There are many on here that try to sabotage your efforts, but just take your time and do your homework. Will that cause you to miss the boat a few times? Yes. Will that save you boatloads of money from mistakes in the long term? Yes. Now, there are also MANY people on here that are more than willing to help you learn and to guide you. They'll also be telling you to buy or to sell, but they'll provide you with research, logic, and reasons why. However, you should still follow up and verify everything presented. Do your own detective work and then make your decisions. Good Luck!

P.S. It (edit: 'I' to 'It') can be hard to do your own detective work when you're not sure what you're (edit: 'your' to 'you're') looking for, or what certain information means. ASK! Don't be shy. The good ones are always willing to help you learn!

OUTSTANDING!!! Set some rules for yourself and never waver from them. Some good information can be picked up from message boards. But don't become one of the FLOCK. Sheep are always led to slaughter. Research Research Research. Find some sites that you are comfortable with and create your own system. If you run into something you don't understand or aren't quite clear about, ask, there are many here that are willing to help.

I opened a Choicetrade.com account last week. $5 an online trade, otb or pinks. NO Minimum to open.
Why do I need two, or why do you need two?
Because when CMKX was at .0001 Scottrade refused to allow me to buy it. I waited and finally opened an account to find that like a day before it ran up... If I had taken the time in Feb. to open another account this wouldn't be happening and I'd bea really happIER guy, not to say I am not happy. Just not as happy as a crack addict in crackland....

DARADOG this isn't the same 'dog' that posted half-assed alluding information only to withhold it, after POSTING that they know SOMETHING but refuses to tell everyone else what it is? You aren't the same 'dog' are you? If so, you are really in no place to say that stonedpigeon is a sheep. In fact if this is the same 'dog' how about telling us what you know about some paid pumper.... You could have posted solid gold but after that whole crap about keeping secrets but posting information that causes panic or fear but telling us you have info and not giving it to us, I could care less about your DD. I actually enjoyed your posts upto the day you withheld what you knew but posted things that beat around it. That makes you a fraud in my book...
Don't get on SP case... you post your DD on here not to make a record of who posts more or less... Don't make this a pissing match because I am sure there are a lot of investors who have you licked, any day of the week...

For all you know Stoned is an eighteen year old girl who has just started out, how would he/she (I know SP is a guy but for arguments sake) have any great DD if they are new and learning... No problem Stoned... I too will be in Vegas, Coco pickle in one hand, craps dice in the other... Okay, when is this Vegas fiasco? Is Area 51 on the list of sites to see? Will cheap hookers,bottom shelf vodka and crappy mexican brick weed be made available to us? Now this would be serious DD work

That's not the kinda stuff you should be talking about to an 18yr old girl!
Again, why don't you post what you know about this 'paid pumper'.... People still attack cash however atn least he said before we sent the money he wanted a camera... What is Dogs motivation for withholding from the people that he posts the DD for... that is my point. You have things up your sleaves... You care about us so much buy posting all of this DD work, yet you will keep us all hanging out the window with QTV.... ummmm okayyyy. You make a lot of sense. Perhaps the name 'dog' is fitting of you.
