I am interested in these bottom plays. I would like to join in on these posts. Could anyone tell me a good site to find and do DD on these stocks? I don't care if I have to pay or not.
Thanks

I just use smallcapcenter's volume list. Then I look at barcharts and see the historical prices, volume, news, company profile, yada yada yada.

Sure looks tempting, but I don't think it will spoil. I'm gonna wait see if it's still there Monday.

The ARS Refilter Exhaust Filter System incorporates a removable filter/convertersystem that is designed for cleaning when needed. This system does not requirespecial fuel formulations and will work with current engine management systemsthus allowing for an estimated 90 percent reduction in emissions and thereforemeeting the upcoming standards. The ARS Refilter Exhaust Filter System willreduce particle emissions from combustion engines and has applications intransportation, mining and construction as well as other industries.
We have completed the necessary research and are continuing development withregard to a proto-type unit. A search of the exhaust filter industry has shownthat there are no similar systems available on the market. A patent notice ofallowance has been granted and we anticipate the patent will be issued with inthe next two months.

ARSW is on my front page streamer but I don't play it because the spread is so tight and there are usualy 15 or so MM deep on both the ask and bid at the same price so the movement is very slow and you could be holding on a stock like this for months with little sellable movement.

I think at the moment, the hottest buy seems to be LSTA. Shares get gobbled up. Low O/S low float. When it runs, I bet it'll run hard. Ric, Will, how hard do you think it'll run? 3 bagger? 5 bagger? Posts: 79 | Registered: May 2004

Ok, let's see how this goes. I am going to look at CGPN 's performance since it was listed on 6/14/04. I think the best way to do this is just by the reference below. It gives OPEN, HIGH, LOW, LAST, CHANGE, VOLUME, & %CHANGE: http://quotes.barchart.com/quote.asp?sym=cgpn&code=BSTK
CGPN looks to be a buy at .003 with a sell of .005. 66%. It looks like that could have been traded like that a couple of times this week.

ATNG listed 6/15 someone mentioned a buy at .005, traded at .0051 6/18. This doesn not fit our criteria, its 52 week low is .0006. If falls through that .005 support would have to wait for a new bottom.

Well, along with DFRC, IDGE, ACSH that were listed 6/16 I see that there were a few do nothings, but more money makers listed. It would come down to when to sell. The only one I bought of all these was PCCL @ .0034, and sold it at .003 for a lost. It was like standing in a 4 hour line to get kicked in the nuts. I see that on paper this will work. Most don't fall through the 52 week low, and a good number of those bounce off of it. I intend to keep listing them, but the accountability is going to be my portfolio, because of the timing of buying and selling. I'll throw them out there, and anyone can take what they like and leave what they don't like. Fair enough?

Rick, you mentioned VNTB 6/17. I remarked I didn't like the volume, it was sitting there at .004, went to .005, now look at this: http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/040618/185389_1.html
That might wake it up. Good call.

Please do me a favor and reduce the size of your posts to this thread to a breaf summerly of why you like it and then post as many links to the company as you like. The reason is that it is a fast moving thread and in order to catch stocks on the run, you need to be able to scroll through the many posts quickly. Frankly that much info in one post becomes boring and most will read right by it, but seeing as the page doesn't update till 50 posts are posted we are stuck with scrolling by it till we get there! I know you mean well and I enjoy your frequent posting of new finds, because its worth it to look at any stock with something new going on, but if it has that much info maybe it should have a thread of its own! Thanks Rick

Look up the thread. I posted recaps on some. I didn't figure it out into $ 's. That would depend on when you got in and when you sold. Just the raw data regarding PPS movement shows ideally played one could make good money with this. Most of the stocks listed had gains of some sort, a few didn't do anything, some fell through tthe 52 week low, but bounced of the new low, PCCL, DFRC in particular. I put some links in there, UpMan, take a look at the movoement after the stock was posted. I'm convinced.

Will I knew it worked before I posted the thread! Its just a matter of getting a few capable traders to look at stocks and find there lows! As I have staighted before I have a 90%+ average for this year using this strategy! Almost all on paper for me, but others I share and research with on other boards are making lots of money using this principal, as will i when I can throw a few more bucks in the market, so I have the ability to play several plays at the same time! Keep it going Will it works if you work it! Rick

I've gotta get involved here as do others. This thread has turned into the will and rickpic show when it should be one of the most important threads here. So many people here are looking for the next big thing and you two are the only ones really doing anything about it. For my part, I'll try to find some suggestions for next week and again, my offer to help summarize still stands.

UpMan, I'm not going to summerize anymore, if you read up the thread. The accountability of it will have to be up to each persons portofolio. It works. Everyone is welcome here. It will be different for everyone, you will probably rarely see me post anything over .00XX, others will post .01+ , and you may even see some .10+ . I am only going to continue looking for bottom plays, and posting them without recommendation. I like the tone of the thread, no nonsense, and not all the banter other threads that are dedicated to one stock sometimes seem to have. I'm looking forward to seeing your finds, you seem like a very analytical guy.
