This company recently went public on the pinks and is getting picked up on many scanners. I grabbed some today and might be adding to this position next week - depending on how it trades. It seems like it is another play in the inernet search engine realm. SHGY has all the makings to be what MDDM was to TASR in my opinion. This forum is for posting due diligence and keeping tabs on what happens with this upstart. I look forward to opinions and comments from other traders and investors.

SearchGuy.com's IPO executed by way of reverse merger on May 2004 with plans to apply for listing on either the Nasdaq or AMEX exchanges very soon. We are very excited in taking this step and would like to reach out to investors as much as possible with information and results. If you would like an investors kit, it is available on the Information Request page.
Let me grab some of these shares immediately.....Good pick!!

The funny thing that kills me on ALLSTOCKS, is people refuse to read other threads. I have made a ridiculous amount of money from ALLSTOCKS alone.....because I read all of the threads!!! Anyway check this out. Too long to post, so I i'm throwin' in the link: http://medianet.indiatimes.com/PRShow.asp?Key=128542&ID=183717

i used their search site and it is very slow... it did a nice job of filtering the results though. but boy, is it slooowwwwwwww....... oop, there is goes crashing my browser. gee, that never happens with anything else... oops, stuck again without returning results. ok i give up.
think the pps will drop? .07 seems high for a search engine that doesn't have a chance (at this stage, anyway) to compete with others in its industry.
YFC- it's not that I don't want to read every thread, it is for a lack of time that I find myself needing to be selective. and that's why i use this board- cuz we share our DD and finds.

As far as PPS is concerned, I haven't the slightest idea. Like an idiot, I had an idea MAMMA.COM (MAMA) was going to fly and I didn't invest. It went from $3 t0 $12 quickly. And as far as the above comment, I just noticed the trend on ALLSTOCKS is to fall in love with a particular stock. BAD JUJU! LOL! Betting Babe..."Don't worry be happy!"
P.S. Hopefully they fix the tiny speed problem.....

SearchGuy.com Issues Letter to Shareholders Regarding IPO
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 29, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- SearchGuy.com Inc., (SHGY) the most creative provider of multi category search and advertising services issued the following letter to shareholders regarding their Initial Public Offering.
Thank you for your interest in SearchGuy.com, Inc. In order to better continue our pursuit of significant opportunities and markets, we have recently become a publicly held corporation. SearchGuy.com has been a great endeavor for both myself and those we have brought with us. Now in our fourth year, we feel poised to lead the marketplace for quality search technology applications. We will utilize our search technology and implement it into multiple outlets. By cornering the internet and PC landscape, we feel we are in perfect position to move into vertical markets. Our market share and brand name recognition are at an all time high. During the calamity of the dot com overhang of 2001 and 2002, we rapidly gathered market share by cutting costs and enhancing the technology at the same time. We are now equipped with not only great technology, but market share and capital. The year 2004 will mark the beginning of a new era for SearchGuy.com. Our overhead continues to remain low as it has from day one. We do not anticipate costs to surge in the near future. At this time the company has no debt, and does not intend on taking on any significant amount of debt in the near future. We are certain that in the coming years search technology will be implemented into various outlets and mediums. Through our public offering we anticipate swift production of these various search technology applications. We want a Search in Every Application, and a SearchGuy in every Briefcase. In addition to added technology, recruiting further talent will be less costly to our bottom line. Therefore, we will reap not only the benefits of new technology, but also the talent that can carry it forward. With the continued commitment of our great employees and our balanced approach to financial and operational management, we have the structure for increasing shareholder value. We are encouraged by the accomplishments and accolades of 2004 so far, and look forward to continued success.

Comprehend that this is not your ordinary pink sheet company. It is one that is intentionally flying under the radar to move up in the ranks of publicly traded search engines, of which it is now undisputedly the cheapest. When the time comes, and I figure it willnot be too long, the stock will be trading in the one to two dollar per share range - conservatively speaking.

Pleeease be aware that the volume on this thing is ONLY at 144,000 right now...and the "big move" it made earlier today to 1.05 was with a volume of ONLY 32,700. There's no such thing as a get rich quick stock...something is not right with this one...IMHO if you get in you might not be able to get out, at least not with any profits, not now. It may be good in the future...but who knows.

heh, that PR gave me a good laugh! i know nothing about this company, but it's clear they're pretty teeny, so they are a mighty unlikely target for hackers. this PR strikes me as akin to transylvania issuing a PR on pearl harbor day saying "we were unaffected by the attack, for some reason the focus was on america instead of us!". maybe a bad analogy, but - you get my drift. again, i know nothing of this company and have no opinion good or bad of them, just struck me as an amusing and perhaps unnecessary PR.
