There are reports that holders of CMKX old spin off shares or CMI restricted shares are showing a value of .0004 in E-Trade accounts. What I'm wondering is if any other online brokers are showing these CMI shares with a value. I sold my CMKX shares a few months back but still hold tens of millions of the spin off restricted shares. At this time Ameritrade does not show a value on them!
Thanks
Rick

RIC
NO
This will come into play later during mining, They have GOV documents reserves in overburden.
I suspect you traded to close to DIVIDEND date and lost the split, don"t see how that could happen though if awarded CMI shares.

Im sitting on tens of millions of CMI shares and the buzz is that CMI shares are showing up in some portfolios with a value of .0004. there is also some buzz about being able to buy the restriction off of them making them sellable, to who I dont know but with the squeeze on CMKX shares who knows!
It is also possible that Casavant is doing a reverse spin makeing CMI shares into CMKX shares, but once again who knows! Anything is possible with CMKX and Casavant! I do feel that the MMs still have the control over what the stock does though and this will keep me away from it for now!

Hey Rickpic. You did what I did also. I sold my 186 count of CMKX on 5/12. Man I'm kicking myself now, but like you I still have the 67 count of CMI shares. I'm hoping those get some action soon. I have E*Trade, but they don't show up as anything yet.
Good to see your still kickin around the boards. Hey so what are you in nowadays?

hey ANNA and USAsail

Sorry to here you 2 got out as well, but don't blame yourselves for trying to make the best choices you could given the amount of controvercy CMKM/CMKX managed to bring on without realy doing much to help the shareholders feel any safety at all in there investments. The book is still open on it and I feel that the conrovercy surrounding CMKM/CMKX is far from over! Hey maybe Casavant will do us right and uncover a massive naked short so that we can jump on a class action suit against every MM who ever handled the companies shares! Who know! If Casavant had only given us the O/S three months ago I would still be holding on, because I would have at least known where i stood! Good Luck to both of you in your future investments! as for what I'm playing hard now it would be LSTA, but is a bounce play that takes 30-100% returns every week or so. The buy price I suggest is .0006 at the moment I bought some more today at .0007 because I had an order in all day and it didn't fill at .0006 It bounces fast and usualy intraday! Sometimes ending where it started! You don't have to love this one to make money on it!

I think I showed you this last fall Rick. I use Ameritrade now and I called them today about it. They say I have a case. Gave me some direction. Around 10,000,000 shares. This is gonna be fun.

Has anyone else had this problem with CMKM stocksplit?

To Whom It May Concern;

I have addressed this issue previously with etrade and am not satisfied of the explanation provided to me by etrade brokerage. Etrade Brokerage claims that because I did not hold my shares of CMKM (Casavant Mining Kimberlite International) through 09/29/2003 I am not to be awarded additional CMKM shares. The president of CMKM states that shares only need be held through close of business September 12th, 2003. I have printed my records of executed trades with etrade and through 09/09/2003 I had purchased 15,000,000 CMKM shares between 8/20/2003 and 9/9/2003. With a three day settlement period, these same shares would have been in my account on 9/12/2003. I also purchased 3,500,000 on 9/10/2003. Counting the 10th, 11th, and 12th, these shares should also have been in my account on the 09/12/2003 record date of close. I sold 5,500,000 on 09/12/2003. Even if the shares purchased on 09/10/2003 were not recognized, after selling the 5,500,000 on 09/12/2003 I would still have been holding 9,500,000 shares at close of business day on 09/12/2003. The shares (3,500,000) purchased on 09/10/2003 would have brought my account to 13,000,000 shares as of close of business on 09/12/2003. At the end of September etrade placed an additional 1,000,000 shares in my account to match the 1,000,000 shares I still held on 09/29/2003. When I called to inquire of the matter I was informed by etrade that I was only due a matching amount of shares that I held on 09/29/2003 (1,000,000). According to an Oct 3, 2003/PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX that I printed from etrade site, etrade is in error with there assumption. The followiing is the News Wire...

Urban Casavant, President of Casavant Mining Kimberlite International (OTC: CMKM) would like to clarify that the payable date for the 2-1 forward stock split will be Monday September 29, 2003. This means that all shareholders who hold CMKM stock through close of market Friday September 12, 2003 will receive one additional CMKM share of stock for every share that they hold through September 12, 2003 the X dividend date, and be paid extra shares by September 29, 2003. Casavant Mining Kimberlite International Board of directors have also approved the spin-out of the corporate zinc deposits at George Lake, Saskatchewan, its wholly owned subsidiary Casavant Mining International, Inc. (CMI). Shareholders of record who hold CMKM stock through close of market on Friday September 19, 2003 will receive one share of CMI stock for every share of CMKM stock that they hold through this date. The payable date for the CMI shares of stock will be Friday October 3, 2003. CMKM shareholders of record at the time will receive one share in CMI stock for every share they hold and will continue to own their CMKM stock. This spin-out will enable CMKM to concentrate on diamond exploration and development at Forte a la Corne, Saskatchewan. If shareholders sell their CMKM stock before September 12, 2003 or September 19, 2003 they will forfeit their rights to receive dividends for CMKM stock split or CMI stock. Drilling information will also be released shortly. Casavant Mining Kimberlite International Clarifies Record Date for CMKM 2 for 1 Stock Split

LAS VEGAS, Oct 3, 2003 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Urban Casavant, President of Casavant Mining Kimberlite International (Pink Sheets: CMKM) would like to clarify that the record date for the 2-1 forward stock split was September 12, 2003. This means that all shareholders who held CMKM stock through close of market Friday, September 12, 2003 receive one additional CMKM share of stock for every share held through September 12, 2003. Stock was to be paid into stockholders accounts after September 29, 2003.
Casavant Mining Kimberlite International has received several calls from shareholders that brokers are only crediting their accounts for shares of CMKM stock that they had in their accounts as of September 29, 2003. This is not correct. Thus many shareholders are deficient shares owed to them. Shares of stock for the 2 for 1 stock split should be paid for shares held through the close of business September 12, 2003.
If you have questions regarding deficient shares in your account please contact your broker to correct the situation.
CMKI is also planning to retire more shares of CMKM stock and will announce the total amount retired and the certificates next week.

As you can see, I am still owed millions of shares of CMKM stock. I was told on 12/2/03 that an ETRADE banking official had reviewed my case and again denied my claim for shares as I did not hold all shares through Sept. 29th, 2003. Believe it or not, I copied these articles from etrade website. I have also witnessed posting on the Raging Bull CMKM stock message board that state that some people were paid more than they had coming, and others appear to be in the same situation as I find myself. CMKM board post #9842 claims to have been grossly overpaid and post 10973 claims to have received double. Post 10904 claims to have bought the stock on 9/12 and although the trade could not have been settled they received shares. Etrade claims that I had to have the stock certs and hold the shares until 9/29 to receive the shares I expected. Is there anything you could possibly do to draw more attention to this matter or possibly enlighten me to my misunderstandings? The way brokerage houses penalize traders swiftly and severely, if I am owed these shares would I not be entitled to additional damages? With the SEC seeming to notice the OTCBB trading levels and corruption suspicions, maybe a letter in that direction next? Reply would be greatly appreciated.

rickpic, I thank you for recommending to me the cmkx stock a year ago. I kept my shares at .0001 and built it up. It's really not to late to buy in, i think you should reconsider. The run hasn't even started yet. It's funny, i must have gotten 20 guys from this board to buy cmkx and i see i don't get a thank you so I give you one as you helped me get 800% off of this stock and its only the beginning. AGAIN, PLEASE CONSIDER BUYING AT LEAST A FEW MILLION AND DON'T MISS THE BIG RUN.

Emunahstock,
I know we don't agree on this stock but maybe you should think twice about buying it tomorrow or at least, keep a close eye on it before pulling the trigger. Tomorrow should be a down day after todays run. I have a hunch that you'll be able to get it for .0005 or so. Keep an eye on it and good luck!

You have quite the situation there! Here is my advise. Contact the attorney General of the state that E-Trade does buisness in and also the attorney General from your state
(Comsumer Protection department) Request a demand letter and then mail out this letter stating that your are seeking triple damages if this matter is not resolved immediatly. If they ignone the demand letter, contact the attorney generals offices again with your documentation and they should help you persue the matter at that point! Triple .0008 x 3 x millions of shares doesnt sound bad at all! I hope this helps!
Rick

PS you could also call Casavants lawyers in NY and see if they will at least make a call for you! E-Trade does owe you the shares1 every other Brocker paid them as directed by CMKM at the time!

sorry USA

I wish my account was showing a value on CMI shares but its not (Ameritrade) Could be due to the game E-Trade played with the spin shares and the mounting lawsuits from CMKM shareholders looking for the shares that E-Trade tried to cheat them out of!

Thanks Rick. Working on it. This is been pissin' me off for awhile now. Here are some of the posts from the time the forward split was taking place. Appears it was a mess to the nth degree.

I originally had 300,000 shares and they added 600,000 twice. That seems like it may have been a mistake rather than a cancellation. I hope.

What is going on? I just checked my Ameritrade account and I have 6 million shares of CMKM. The funny thing is I don't (well didn't) even own this stock anymore. I sold for a loss awhile back like in Feb. or Mar., did I qualify for some shares on a split? Can I sell them? Should I call Ameritrade os just keep hush about it? I checked my account last Thursady and they were not there.

TIA

They gave them to me 1:1 and now there are twice as many as before with an alert message that I should only have the one set i.e. 300,000 - went to 600,000 shares, now it is 600,000 shares entered two times with an alert message that I should only have 300,000 shares. Help me understand.

I also have Etrade and I just have the cusip # in my portfolio and it shows zero for the price.

Strange thing though, is my streamer shows a purchase date for CMKX of 01/01/1970 and for the CMI shares 12/31/1969.
LOL....so if I sell now will I get less tax taken out for holding for all those years!

I just got off the phone with ETrade and they called the Transfer Agent involved with the spinoff shares. They told ETrade those shares have to be held for two years until the restriction is off. So we are out of luck until 10/05...just a hop skip and a jump, and who knows it may be higher by then.

Etrade told me that they had no idea what the CMI shares were and for me to call the company. That is what I am going to do....I am going to record it and create a sound bite for all to here...

Well I hope you get similar feedback...cuz I sure could use those shares. I can't believe I sold on 5/12 so many times I've kick myself in the butt this year.....

I sure hope you are joking about BK.If not continue to post I sure some of us would think about helping.
I'm one of those guys (and I know others here also) that are very cognizant of who provides value . What good is a forum if a component fails ??

RicPick, I am one of the originals when you first brought this one to light. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!

You actually got me started in the micros. Its been a fun ride and Allstocks Members (most that have followed you) miss your input and insight.

If (and when) we CMKX'ers become financially independent, I am sure we all could give you a little hand.

Thanks again.

Oh I was not kidding! I sold after the Kimberlite strike didn't move the PPS and lost a ton of money on this position! Thats the way it is with me, it seems that everyone who follows my picks makes money with them, except me!
Good Luck to all!

How about Rickpic pay the mortgage! LOL thanks for the tip after the run! I own a position in LSTA and that is the only hope I have left of getting back into any up swing at all! It does run good, so we shall see with that one!
Its been a slow year for me in my buisness and I haven't been able to play many of the stock I have recomended! I have about a 90%positive as far as picks go and i share them on several forums! As they say the bigger they are the faster they fall and I'm not an exception to that rule!

RicPic, it's been a while since you have used the Allstocks forum. Maybe we all could help you with some DD and get ya back to even.

I have about 180 different stocks that I watch on my streamer every day and I only play stocks that I know the bottoms on! The reason I dug the hole in the first place is chasing stocks or getting out to early! I don't chase any stocks anymore, its a leason most traders have to learn along the way! I've had to pull almost everything I had in the market out to cover household and buisness commitments. The vultures are starting to get hungry and my Shepards can't fend them off forever! LOL
