I see that it's at it's low and there isn't any bad news that drove it there. Is it a good stock to get into?

I have a buy order in right now for .002, however, I plan on dumping right away at .004-.008 if I can, in one of their last PR, they discuss the Cabo condo project, but they mentioned that they dropped the Chinese road project and that they discontinued their relationship with their PR firm, I would be careful, but yes, I am buying for the short term only

Lots of buys at .003 going in at close and filling, you might want to try and get in before close

I know this is just cut and paste, but you can see all the PR's of late. The one that sticks out is the bridge funding for the Olympic project in Athens. That should bring in some nice revenue soon.

Mellon Research Inc. Announces Major Bridge Funding Contract for New Client in Athens, Greece
Wednesday May 5, 1:51 pm ET

PHOENIX, May 5, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Mellon Research Inc. (OTC BB:MLON.OB - News), the market leader in providing boutique investment banking services to private mid cap companies and offshore firms, today announced that it has successfully setup a bridge funding loan for $120 million for a new client that has been collateralized by $300 million in fixed real estate assets. The new client is a major construction firm that is working on several major projects that must be completed in time for the upcoming Summer Olympics, which are being held in Athens Greece.

``We were approached by an offshore client in Greece that needed $120 million USD in bridge funding immediately so that they could complete a major construction project in Athens in time for the upcoming Summer Olympics. Extensive consultations with the company management led to better understanding of what their financial needs were and helped us analyze their existing real estate portfolio (assets) while assembling a financial package for them within a short timeframe,'' said Mario Pino, CEO of Mellon Research Inc.

``We then leveraged our existing contracts with the Credit Suisse Group in Switzerland and Deutsche Bank in Germany to put together a financial package that met our client's needs. This is a major contract for Mellon Research and should generate fees of $400,000 up to $1.6 million as we move forward through the contractual period.''

I put in an order for .002 yesterday, never filled. I was too stubborn to buy at .003, now i am kicking myself.
Good job to those who got in.

I put in a sell for .006 yesterday right after I bought, and it partially filled today. About 1/3 of my shares were sold at .006

Good job KB, I got in for .003 this morning and out at .006 this afternoon. I know you said 1/3 of your shares sold, if you don't mind me asking, how many did you buy and sell? I bought and sold 200,000.

I bought $1000 worth at .003 (333,333 shares) and dumped 100,000 at .006 (a little less than 1/3 my stake) I just changed my sell to .005 for the other 233,333 shares. Hopefully it will fill today. I put my sell in yesterday and it only partially filled today, thats wierd you got rid of all your shares today before I did. What broker do you use? I'm using Freetrade. Either way, good job on the 100% profit in a day.

The rest of my sell order never filled. Oh well. I'll try again on Monday. I'm also going to put a buy in again at .003 and see if I can do the same thing Monday. I can handle a couple 100% days. Good luck to all, have a nice weekend.

Looks like there was some good news out on MLON today, someone started another thread to discuss it, but it looks promising. Like I said last week, that Athens deal should bring in some quick revenue, and they announced payment today. I'm actually glad my sell didn't go through last Friday, I might just decide to keep this one a little longer. Good job to those who got in MLON last week, looks like it is just now starting to show up on other peoples radar.

I can't complain on the 100% turnaround, but now I wish my sell order never filled too. I am thinking about buying back in tomorrow at .003 if possible, but after todays PR's I don't think we'll see that level again. I agree MLON is just starting to show up on other peoples radar, if I have to, I will buy back in at .0045. Looks like you're lucky that you still have most of your shares left. That was a good call KB on that Athens project bringing in revenue soon, I didn't expect it would be today though. Oh well, .0045 still looks good to me.
