Well, after going up and down, we have more good news (please excuse my cut and paste DD but it is noteworthy)it is just a matter of time before the revenue really takes off:Motion DNA Reaches Tentative Agreements with Two of the Nation's Top Collegiate Athletic Programs
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., May 28, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Motion DNA Corp. (Pink Sheets: MOTD) has reached a tentative agreement with two major U.S. universities. Under the terms of the agreements, Motion DNA will conduct annual mobility-based physical examinations of all athletes in each university's athletic programs.
Arizona State University and Florida State University are expected to sign formal agreements next week, retaining the services of Motion DNA Corp. The parties have agreed in principle to work together in reducing injuries in each program's athletic department, by using Motion DNA's BioTrainer(TM) to identify physical limitations and potential injury risks. In addition to physical examinations, the athletic departments are expected to utilize Motion DNA's BioTrainer(TM) to conduct single and multiple joint rehabilitation exercises. This use will include measuring the performance of exercises for athletes who have undergone major knee and shoulder surgical procedures and those athletes who suffer from chronic pain and injuries related to the biomechanics of their body's movement.
Florida State University and Arizona State University currently rank as two of the top 20 collegiate programs in the country, according to the NCAA's rankings of collegiate athletic programs. Florida State is considered one of the nations top five collegiate athletic programs.
Motion DNA officials expect the agreements to be signed after the Memorial Day holiday when university officials return from short vacations. Motion DNA expects to begin fulfillment of the contracts no later than August of 2004 beginning with the athletes in each school's football programs. Motion DNA executives have set a goal to obtain signed agreements with 10 major universities prior to the upcoming National Athletic Trainers Association convention in Baltimore, June 16 through 18. At the convention, Motion DNA expects to open negotiations with dozens of additional collegiate athletic programs.
