OK, bear with me as you know I am still sort of new at all this. Is this a possible answer for what is happening:
News about the new CEO came out on 5/7, and the news about Brodrick buying the changing stations. Read somewhere below financials are due out. Are they buying their own stock because of the news below??
Along with that came the news about the stock etc... ______________ Approximately $13.6 million in proceeds from the transaction were applied toward the outstanding balance of Koala's senior credit facility, which was $29.5 million as of December 31, 2003. In addition, Koala's bank group reduced the balance due under Koala's term loan to $3 million, and extended Koala's current revolving line of credit up to a maximum of $4.5 million. In exchange for the reduced amounts owed under the term loan, Koala has issued the bank group shares of Koala 10% Series B Redeemable Cumulative Preferred Stock with a stated value of $10.725 million. Dividends on the Preferred Stock accrue at 10% per year and are payable in additional shares of Preferred Stock. If by December 31, 2005, Koala repays the current bank group in full its remaining term debt and the full balance on its revolving line of credit, Koala can redeem all of the Preferred Stock, including any shares issued as a dividend, for no cost. After December 31, 2005, the Company may redeem the Preferred Stock at redemption values that increase incrementally from 25% to 75% of stated value through December 31, 2007, after which time the shares would be redeemable at the full stated value. If the Company has not redeemed all of the Preferred Stock by December 31, 2007, the bank group may exercise voting rights that entitle them to elect the full board of directors of the Company. Green Manning &Bunch, a Denver-based investment banking firm, acted as financial advisor to Koala and rendered an opinion as to the fairness of the restructuring from a financial standpoint to Koala and its shareholders. __________________________
It sounds like (?) maybe they are buying their own stock due to the negotiations above. _______________________________ They are also having the 2003 audit done, and results are not out yet.
"Koala expects that its audit of 2003 results will be completed soon and intends to include the audited financial statements in the annual meeting materials that will be sent to shareholders. " ___________________________________ MAYBE they know the audit is good, and the price of the stock will go up alot, so they don't care if they are buying high, because it will go higher. ?? _____________________ Other info: Industry Average S&P 500 Average 2.0 2.4 1=Buy 5=Sell ___________________________ Next 5 Years' Estimated Growth% Forward P/E PEG Ratio

They are availabel for immediate shipping, and are being carried "in stock" now by most companies. here is a picture of one: http://www.concentric.net/~Kirksey/Koala_BCS.htm
A year ago before the new CEO, and the buyout, the price went down to .09 and .11 and with the restructuring it increased. On RB board last entry is 9/03 and they were getting little news or communication. A lot has happened since then. CD

I haven't tried to sell it yet. But I'm in at a dime. I bet I can sell it for 50 or 60 cents. I should be so lucky to turn every $250 I spend on stocks turn into $1500 in a couple of months. That is where people are not having luck with low volume. You can't wait on them. You have to move quick and get cheapest price possible. Then don't be greedy by "only" trying to sell at the best price out there. A four or five bagger is good BANK in my book.

Possibly. But if the are buying it themselves, the price will go up from here. Everyone wishes this were a daytrade they could get in and out of everyday at the low and the high. It's not. But when it runs some volume, it will be sweet.

So is it MM's buying and selling to themselves or each other? It is fun to see the price of my portfolio go so high late in the day, but then I wake up and... well... it is back down. CD

Jeff Trailer left me a message today. "We don't know why it does that" (the up and down) " it isn't anything we are doing, but beileve it people going on speculation". " Give me a call etc... we will talk more" Sooooo. I will call him tomorrow. Cd

Too afraid to call him. This is speculation: After I got the first message, it has all stopped with the up and down. I DO wonder if it WAS in house with the contract that is coming up if they suspect the price would go up, or want it to go up to those prices for the contract etc... otherwords manipulating the stock to look good to the new contract people. Anyone have a guess?? CD

Anyone know how large the last sales were. If small then the inflated price theory might be a possibility. Or could be an insider selling off shares at a guaranteed price, which could be used to do the same thing legally.
