I keep hearing rumors of a buyout by Paris Hilton. It would be great if she had majority control of this company and her dad's money couldn't hurt Warning either!!

whiznock i have been watching this also. i believe this is a good company, but it is not a pump and dump. i see it making a few spikey jumps here and there, but not anything too aggressive. its a modeling agency and even with news of new sign ons and such it wont make a increase daydreamers...ahem i mean daytraders would like. just kidding everyone!

what im saying is i am going to purchase into WNMI but am expecting to throw it on the backburner and hold it for perhaps 3 months to see how it fares. i dont believe this will go lower. it WILL climb up just give it a little bit more time than you would say QBID...or if we are lucky...very soon CMKX!

I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM BUYING OR SELLING WNMI, IT IS A VERY LIQUID STOCK. MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHECK THE DECIMAL POINTS YOU ENTERED. OR PERHAPS, YOUR COMPUTER IS UNPLUGGED. LOL

No, Whiz, I don't think there is any chance at all of Vinny's rumor being true. And Vinny, who never posted DD here on WNMI, seemed awfully pumped up about his rumor- enough to start his own thread (which was deleted- I've never seen Allstocks delete an entire thread for no reason) & broadcast his buy order. Wouldn't one buy before they started pumping all over the place on good news? Hrm...
Further, let's look at Steven Chamberlin. Started this venture in what- 1998? It's all he does. He's pretty much out of the woods overhead-expense-wise, don't you think? He's got his licenses, staff, models, website... he's only begun to see a return on his investment, why would he sell out now when the value is just building? He's no old geezer ready to retire, and seemingly has plenty of investors at his disposal, is hooked up with the FMLY and DRDF teams.. what is the motivation to sell?? And to a model whom he represents and makes money off of? I can't see it.
Lastly, Paris brought in (just approxing here) about 25 $ million last year on her own. Forget Daddy's money- this girl is a business entity herself. She's signing agreements left & right. Why would she, who likely needs to break out of the model stereotype in the future, buy the very agency that reps her and cement herself in the model world? Just can't see it.

So, perhaps Vinny has an inside track, but IMO it's a time to day trade it but take it with a grain of salt. And since there was no source to the rumor- not even a remote reason to believe it- the ride didn't even last long enough for a day trade.

WNMI is another one listed on the Berlin Xchg, and longfellow pointed out that the day after it was listed the pps dropped significantly. Given the problems other companies are having with the Berlin X, I can venture a guess that could be at issue here as well.
LONGFELLOW- did you get a response to the email you sent asking Warning mgmt about their listing/delisting form Berlin?

And clearly their revenues pick up in the 3rd & 4th quarters. Again, I think this is a stock driven by celebrity PR but founded on a solid business model. I don't hold long on many pennies, but I am on this one.

Oh, and about that rumor- how come Vinny is the only one to ever hear it, and why, if reports are correct about Paris in talks with JC Chazez about a music career (in addition to her model/act/spokesperson career), why would she want to bog herself down buyng her agent?
Just.. can't.. see it.
Just.. my.. opinion ;-)

b-babe, you appear to be gingerly making your point about the recent rumor in a politically correct manner. you are much more polite and considerate than me! i'll just come right out and say it: the rumor was a complete fabricated boatload of crap by a scammer hoping to make a quick buck. i like WNMI and have a very small holding and would like it to go up, but not via BS rumors.

Thanks for that response Babe!

I like what you said about chamberlain pretty much being out of the woods now & with business picking up later in the year he might finally see some returns.

Altogether good post & again, thanks for the answer.
