I just wanted to warn any new investors that this may go up but it is not really an investment you would want ot hold. I didn't buy any yesterday and was surprised to see it run. Hooray for all who made $$$$. Buying in at the .015 or so price is exceptionally risky. It may go up but I believe there are many better places to put your money. Just my learned opinion on this one. Hi Tuffy, How long have you traded pennies? If you have been around penny stocks for more than 6 months you should know a little about AFFR which did a reverse split and is now AFRT. AFFR was the name after it had after just completing another reverse split. The company has a very bad reputation for dealing fairly with stock holders. You can make money on it if you know what it is but I don't want anyone to fool themselves into believing this is a quality investment. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me three times and you might make a business out of it---Oh!!! They did.

Yeah I got burned by AFRR now AFRT..
I remember when they did the test with the treesafe spray and the tree caught on fire.
I mean you can make money on it if you can dump before they dump.
Just don't stay in it too long.
If you have a good feeling about it........it's your money.
I am already out.....up $865.00 which I have to wait three days for it to settle......then I will use for QBID...and ITDJ.

Watch out for this one. Lost 87% of my money invested after the 250:1 R/S. These are crooks with nothing but bs fluff for pr's around Christmas for their TreeSafe junk and the glove box thing is pretty lame IMHO. If you're going to swing trade it maybe, but just watch your timing. It's not worth any more of my hard earned money. They never answer e-mails or respond to letters. Called the number a couple of time and always get an answering maching. They've never returned my calls. Save your money unless you are very good at knowing when to take your profit. I wasn't and like the old saying goes....Screw me once shame on you...screw me twice, shame on me.....lots of other great stocks out there especially if you are new. Not bashing this junk, just telling my story. AFRC/AFRT/AFRR or what ever they go by mow......is a looser but for the very experienced. JMHO

American Fire Retardant Corp.'s American Safety Products Division and LCM Technologies Introduces the C.A.T.C.H.E.R.

SAN DIEGO, May 20, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- American Safety Products, a division of American Fire Retardant Corp. (AFRT), yesterday unveiled the C.A.T.C.H.E.R. at the GSE International Expo (Aviation Industry Week -- www.aviationindustryweek.com) in Las Vegas. Ira Tabankin, President of LCM Technologies, Inc, a division of American Safety Products, introduced the C.A.T.C.H.E.R. in a joint panel discussion with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NOC), ATS-Denver, Inc. and LCM Technologies.

The LCM C.A.T.C.H.E.R. (Communications And Telemetry Computing Handheld for Emergency Response) is the world's first "video-centric" command-and-control, portable wireless video and data device for security applications. Northrop Grumman showed their Alert Video technology and ATS-Denver demonstrated the GIS software package, both of which will run on the C.A.T.C.H.E.R. platform. The initial purpose of the device is to provide security at airports and other transportation centers with the ability to oversee the entire security system on a portable, hand-held device.

Mr. Tabankin began by saying "Cameras, cameras everywhere and not enough eyes to see." He stated, "This device gives you the security world in the palm of your hand, wherever you might be. What was once science fiction is now a reality." Tabankin said that the response to his presentation and the device was "overwhelming, and actually shocking would be a better description." Some of the other comments he heard were "Can this really be?" and "All of this in such a small package."

LCM Technologies is part of the new American Fire Retardant Corp. AFRC and its American Safety Products Inc. division are committed to bringing "Life Safety" products to market and preventing tragedy rather than reacting to it.

Stephen F. Owens, President of AFRC, said, "We look forward to sharing more about this important new technology in the near future as relationships can be documented and contracts completed." Mr. Owens concluded his remarks by adding, "LCM and the C.A.T.C.H.E.R. have added one more important piece in the commitment to the transformation and growth of American Fire Retardant Corp. and American Safety Products Inc."

Aviation Industry Week says, "In the past 100 years, the aviation industry has gone through periods of tremendous success and innovation, as well as periods of intense challenges. As we head into the next 100 years, we are faced with new challenges that require us to change the way we do business. Old methods no longer work. We need to think smarter and be more efficient in order to be successful."

I know a lot of people lost money on this when AFRT or whatever their ticker was back then reverse split their stock, but now that there are less shares outstanding and less dilution, these shares should in theory be worth more, correct? Plus they have released news that appears to be good. I don't doubt that its high risk, but there is the possibility that these shares could be undervalued due to investor sentiment after the reverse split(s). They say don't get emotional with a stock you own. I think this applies whether you're inclined to love it or hate a stock. Hating it too much could deprive one of a great money making opportunity if the stock isn't bought at a good opportunity, and loving it too much could cause one to hold onto it too long and miss an exit that most would have seen. I'm daytrading AFRT, I'll hold it longer if things start looking up for this company and if they can give me reason to trust them.

Well it wasn't the fact we lost money from R/s, 3 in under 2 years, it was after they did a reverse split they turn right around and issue more shares. The end product is they have as many shares as they did before the split. Thats what has pissed everyone off. Since they don't have to file reports, we never know untill its to late that they have re-issued new shares.

Trust has to be earned, and this company has given no reason for us to put much trust in them, based on their past performance.

Further, when trust is given, it shouldn't be abused.

It appears to me they were trying to finance something with stock issuance, they may have felt that without the R/S ownership would become too diluted after issuing more shares. If you look at their yahoo cash flow statement, they took in over $4 million in '03 by issuance of stock. I like to see investment made in the business, but I'm still not sure what they spent the $4 million on, has anyone done the DD on this? Did it go towards an executive golf course and porsches or product development?

LOL, I'd love to read the PR about this tree catching on fire, that's as funny as Windows crashing as MSFT was demonstrating it to a large group of people! But look at MSFT's successes, I'm not counting AFRT out, I think they can do well in the future if their products are successful, but I AM watching my AFRT stock holdings--LIKE A HAWK!
