(OTCBB:RCAA - News) announced today that it expects to receive approval from Environment Canada in April 2004 making ALDEROX(TM) KR-7(TM) the new national standard for concrete release agents in that country.
As the company did with its ALDEROX(TM) ASA-12(TM) asphalt release product, RCAI has been working with Environment Canada to establish ALDEROX(TM) KR-7(TM) as the national standard for concrete release agents in Canada. Mike Davies, vice president and director of RCAI, said, "RCAI has passed all of the tests set forth by Environment Canada from inspection of the production facility, approval of manufacturing procedures and quality control, to rigorous testing and analysis that included, among other things, toxicity and biodegradability testing." KR-7(TM) will be the first concrete release agent to receive Canadian EcoLogo approval and the company believes that it will have that certification in place within the next 30-45 days. Once formal approval has been given, ALDEROX(TM) KR-7(TM) product labels will bear the Environmental Choice logo and Environment Canada will bring the product to the attention of all Provincial governments and asphalt suppliers in Canada.
