For anyone who cares, whenever IVOC files for a patent, they rec. the patent 45-60 days later. Tomorrow will be 60 days since filing. Over the last 12 mos. each time the company rec. their patent, they have jumped over 125%. I have personally made money on them three times.

I'm currently in for 8.1 mil shares. By the middle of June, they are due out 2 more patents. One being an international one. So far they have never been turned down for a patent so I expect this one to be announced this week. Then I sell at .0065ish and HOPEFULLY rebuy at.003? and sell again in May when the second patent is due out.

did ok on the last round of patents---
anybody heard anything on the spinoff/dividend? i got a notice but haven't seen anything else lately....
If you're talking about IVOC's spinoff of Trey resources, they've already issued them and I already sold mine. Shares of Trey were issued the beginning of March.
So, tomorrow we go up 125%, correct? Just kidding.
Their website looks good (IVoice.COM), and their recent PR says that they have signed a letter of intent to acquire Ideal Ideas, Inc.
MATAWAN, N.J., Apr 1, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- iVoice, Inc. ( IVOC ), a leader in speech recognition technology, announced today that it has signed a Letter Of Intent to acquire Ideal Ideas, Inc. and its technology portfolio of issued patents.

Reminder: You had to have owned shared on Feb 9th. I'm proud to say I bought on the 10th :P ... yet, I still got a packet of information regarding the spin off and shares that I 'would' get, but obviously that's a mistake.
Long term hold. Taking advantage of the lows we are seeing now.
Yes, I went through Ameritrade. It took a few minutes for the order to get Filled, and when it did, the shares showed up immediately in my account.
I do believe that we are scraping our bellies near the bottom right now. Hopefully, we'll come up for a BIG SPLASH!... but ANY good upward movement would be great.
Looking at the chart, it would be great to repeat the spike in January. But to be realistic, we've got to take a look at the small spikes that occurred in approximately the 3rd week of October, November, and December. A tiny spike up to $0.003 would equal 30-50% returns(??) from current levels. Can't complain if we get a repeat of those.

All of the little spikes were not from them receiving a patent. If you look back at the last 3 big spikes, they were all from receiving a patent which occured anywhere from 45-60 days after they filed for such patent. Today just happens to be the 60th day since they filed for another patent. Since they didn't rec. the patent today, I would venture to guess that if they rec. it this week, they hold the news til' Mon. since the week is short due to Fri. being Good Friday. Good luck to all.

Yep, from your initial post, I gathered that the big spikes coincided with the patent issues... you must have had some great returns! Nice job!
I was just pointing out that there are tiny spikes in-between that are not too shabby when it comes to percentage gains. Those are probably tiny hiccups in the PPS due to PR?
Let's hope for a BIG spike real soon!
Thanks for the heads-up jonv, and Good Luck To ALL!!!

Does anyone know if the patent office is running at about a 60 day turnaround? IVOC has another patent, an international patent, that was filed for on March 5th I believe so 60 days puts that one at May 5th. Hopefully, IVOC hits in the next couple days, makes it back down to the .004 range so I can buy again and be part of the kick for the next patent. Don't know if time will permit though.

I should know this, because I own a patent... but, I don't. My lawyer handled all of my submittals.
Here is the best I can do. There are several "dates" involved when dealing with patents.
"Filing" Date is when the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) receives a patent application. The "Issue" Date is when the submitter receives an approved patent. I think that is when someone Files for a patent that they can officially say that their invention is "Patent Pending".
Another date involved is a "Publication" date.
I did a quick search on "IVOICE" at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO.GOV), and found some info for IVOICE, Inc.
I didn't see anything issued in the last year, but those may have been under a different name... or at least the name "IVOICE" did not show up in my search.
In particular, take a look at the wording that says...
"The projected publication date of an application is the Thursday after the date that is eighteen months after the earliest filing date claimed by the applicant. Accordingly, if the application does not claim priority under 35 U.S.C. 119, 120 or 365, then the projected publication date is eighteen months after the filing date of the application. If the application claims priority, such as priority under 35 U.S.C. 119(e) to a provisional application, then the projected publication date is the Thursday after the date that is eighteen months after the filing date of the provisional application. If the earliest priority claim was more than 15 months before the filing date of the application, then the projected publication date will be about fourteen weeks after the mailing date of the filing receipt. If the projected publication date is changed by more than six weeks, a "Notice of New or Revised Publication Date" will be mailed, informing applicant of the new projected publication date."
When I received my patent, it took over a year to receive a Patent #... and I'm not sure when it became available on the Search Engines that I provided above. So, I wonder if all the PPS spikes that we saw in the IVOC Chart are happening about 18 months (?) after a Filing Date?
Don't know.
But, if you look at the date of one of the PUBLISHED APPLICATION links that I provided earlier in this post, that date is July 25, 2002. 18 months after that is January, 2004... which is one the BIG SPIKES we saw in IVOC. Looks like the PPS spike happened early in January 2004, and not near the 25th, though.
Don't know if I've interpreted any of this correctly.... any Patent Lawyers out there? (Pro-Bono, of course)
If were learned anything for sure, it is that THURSDAYS (or the FRIDAYs thereafter) are the days to watch for these announcements!
OK, I'm going to go back to lurking mode on this one... could be tomorrow, could be 18 months?
That's micro-penny stocks for you!
If I get more free shares elsewhere, I may boost my number of shares here... looks like this IS due for a BIG SPIKE sometime... hopefully sooner, than later.
Good Luck To ALL!!!
JONV, where did you get your info regarding the 60-Day Periods that you were talking about?

JONV, where did you get your info regarding the 60-Day Periods that you were talking about?
I looked at news releases from my Ameritrade acct. over the last yr. I noticed that one time, a patent was filed for and about 45days later, they announced a patent. The second time, a few months later, they announced another filing, and this time 60 days later they had a news release stating they rec. another patent. The two most recent big spikes were Nov. of last year and Jan. of this year. Are these coincedences? It just seems weird that IVOC jumps, trickles down for a few months to .003 or so and then jumps to .006+ . It just seemed like the whole time frame thing made sense. Either way, .0022 is an INCREDIBLE entry point. I have 4mil. @.0036 and 4.1mil. @.0025. LET THE BIG DOG EAT!!!

Now that IVOC is at .0021, maybe I'll sell what I bought at .0036 and rebuy. ONLY because I'm wild-e-jon, super genius. No really, .0021 I feel is an awesome entry point.

The last major spike in Jan., came off a low of about.0029 +/- It proceeded to jump to .009 over a two day period. I sold at .0074. The news was from a patent obtained and right now we're trying to make sense out of patents owed to them and exactly when to expect them.

I just went to Ivoice.com and left an email for their investor relation dept. asking when they expected a patent or a news release worthy of pushing the stock upwards. I then called the lady (Delores) but she is out until tomorrow. I suggest all of us take 5 minutes and email them so we might get an idea of possible stock movement.
