When I initially returned to trading stocks I read something on this message board that I intuitively knew, but never followed. I am old enough to drink Bud, and have probably accumulated a few more expendable dollars than you have, not because I am smarter I just spent more years at working than you have. The "something" I read was this: Precent gain is what is important. If you bought $100 worth of a stock at $1, (100 shares), and it went to $1.25 you have a $25 gain or 25% of original investment. If you bought a $100 worth of a stock at .01, (10,000 shares), and it went to .0125 you have a $25 gain or 25% of your original investment. The advantage I see in buying lowered price stocks is that you can buy more than one with a modest amount of money. Your money is at risk either way, but if it is invested in two or more stocks you don't have all your eggs in one basket. Of course the downside is the higher price stocks are nicer baskets, but now you're seeing excellent companies with poor price preformance. Chances are quality will come back sooner and better, but the pennies move on hype and speculation. Now the other advantage being older has is, it allows one to collect more whip marks from the mistakes they make. I learned long ago you bet big, you can win big, but you can also lose big. Your lack of money may be a blessing. Because you don't have much you will appreciate growing it, and dread losing it. Your at the all day horse races, the stock market is white collar horse racing. You look at the stock's, (horse's), past preformance and place your bet. The more you know about how to read the read the charts, fundamentals, (racing form), the better chance you have of picking a winner, the pennies are just low priced tired nags that have spurts of energy, and every once in awhile you'll find a SEABISCUIT. Now, I haven't mastered the analysis of the information here either, but I can tell you this, learn it for yourself. Get the feel for the ebb and flow, watch it, see what happens, follow some stocks, ask questions. You can sit at the table with your friends at the OTB, and ask what horse they like, but if it's your money why have them bet it. Besides, I don't think it is about the money for most people here, it's about finding that next SEABISCUIT, and being right.

Good luck Joey, I am a little older too and have learned to take what I can use and leave the rest. Read, study, and then use your own instincts, you never know, you may end up right! I am by the way in both CTKH & QBID, I believe Qbid will have a bright future near term and CTKH in the long term if ever. Just my opinion, research and listen to your own instinct!

I'm totally new at this Joey... but for what it's worth I think there are definately more secure places to put it in that WNMI. I mean WNMI is great fro a quick profit turner... double or tiple your money if you can. However GZFX is a great long term (after you've raised some capital). And I think QBID is great too... I'm just a little nervous about the air date.
Take a look at www.stockta.com try plugging in the various stocks your interested in. See if they predict it bear or bull... also you can look at their charts too. www.tradetrek.com is cool too... but for a newbie like me... I like stockta better on certain things.

Hey Joe You invest with me and I'll send back the cans and pay shipping. I think the point is you don't have the backing you need to invest, Speaking of scrap aluminum you might scavenge copper, aluminum, brass and sell at salvage yard to get a larger stake. In past years I averaged 1-3 tons of scrap and waited till Feb/Mar when prices are highest. VAN

Ahhh heck go QBID. It is a tester. I spent $25 dollars my first time into ICOA. I sold it today gaining $1k. I am now going to turn around and poor it into QBID. I have lost nothing, but if I had of LOST, it would have only been $25.00. But now I am playing with free money.
Lot of luck, Please learn your own DD and learn it well.

$155 is a small start but you may want to look at the $.000's. This is where I started with a small amount and made a ton of money. Now I's holding millions of CTKH, QBID, USCI, IVOC, and some other pennies that have worked out pretty good for me. This board also helps with everyones input. Best of luck
