If you are looking for an ENTRY then NITE being on the BID shows more support than say JEFF.

In general, I may be wrong but, when I see NITE I usally think of them as being more support or resistance than any other market maker out there.

This is just my understanding. I am sure many could answer this better than I did.

where an MM is on the bid or ask does indicate a lot. With larger MMs (nite being one of them), if they are high on the bid, this means they are trying to get shares, stock has potential. If they are high on the ask, same thing. They think it will rise, so they set a high sell. When an MM is high on both BID and ASK, i have NO IDEA what that means!

I take it NITE and JEFF are certain MM's. How do you know their ID's? How do you know which stock(s) a MM is handling? How do you know how exactly how many shares are traded each time whether at a lower, equal or higher price? Sure would appreciate an explanation of each!!!

Level II shows the depth of the market. (What MM's are BID & ASK is for a stock) Level II also shos the MM by name.

REAL TIME SELL information shows the sell price and volume. Blow by Blow. Though the MM is not listed in this information. I wish it was.

I do not know who to get a list of what stocks NITE is an MM for. I am not sure whay anyone would need this information.

Hope this helps.

Paul,

Many thanks! I'm accustomed to NYSE stocks.
Soon, I will get the hang of it!
