Once again I will take the oppurtunity to point out that we are not communicating effectively here---PG has been holding/posting some of those stocks for awhile-LOL--even before IBZT was a penny-red/green for the day is not the question you asked NEO---NOR was it her claim--read carefully--- and then you wonder why the bickering starts--LOL

Neo, red or green, what I consider to be red ink or black ink, is relative to your entry price. My entry prices for ten stocks are significantly lower than current prices. Two stocks, my entry prices are higher than current prices. My rating of vested stocks are relative to my buy prices.
I expect price swings of plus or minus five percent on a daily basis. For some, as much as plus or minus ten percent on a daily basis.
In terms of the way you are viewing, out of several dozen stocks I watch daily, I see more green than red, for today.
Although major markets are down today, this an up day for true penny stocks.
Only major market penny stocks "loosely" follow is the NASDAQ. If a majority of our penny stocks hold true to what the NASDAQ is doing, we should see mild drops in prices two to three days from now.
Penny stocks tend to lag behind the NASDAQ by twenty-four to seventy-two hours.

One of my portfolios was green by 1.51% today the other was RED by 0.17% today--most of the ones I wanted/need green were green today--the ones i don't worry about day to day were red--this is a good thing because some of my stocks i hold for over a year LOL

Right, Glassman. If you or I reported our gains on stocks, we would be relating gains of thirty percent to one-hundred percent, a few, even more.
On the average, my gains are normally in the range of twenty percent to forty percent.
For losers, I usually jump out on a twenty percent loss or average down if I know the stock well and it is a value stock.
Overall, today is an "up" day for penny stocks. My guesstimation is sixty-five to seventy percent of "true" penny stocks display mild gains today.
My personal feeling is we will realize continued mild gains in the coming weeks.
Greenspan put a damper on today's trading but his comments will fade from memory and the excitement of roller coaster rides will again prevail.

My SNVBF--which is not a micro and is barely (technically) a penny @4.96$ was down 1.39% today--LOL yesterday and the day before it was up a dollar----
CLSI--I needed up TODAY was--why did i need it up? because I have a lot of it--it is low risk IMO at .025 and below--and has been looking sad for a week or so(i have accumulaeted it at a cost-basis of.024---and i didnot like it being below that--
MAGR is down 2.72% today but i have traded it so heavily for the last six months that I stopped calculating the "FREE" shares

Neo, only recent down market for penny stocks is precisely the same as major markets, this recent six to seven day losing streak.
Penny stocks have been gaining since last October, with mild Christmas drops which are expected and presents good buy prices.
I mentioned to Bob Frey early last week we would witness a mild rebound, on a certain day, cannot remember which day this was, but sure enough, the bare beginning of a rebound followed by a good rebound the next day.
We are currently in an upward trending market for penny stocks, albeit a very mild uptrend.
So, past five months are upward, major crash late February, back to uptrend for this month of March.
Current indicators for all markets is an uptrend, but very mild.
Keep in mind, many penny stocks do not behave as you expect, especially those under ten cents a share.

I can't / will not try right now. I sold 3/4 of my small position a week or so ago at current price. I am now holding free shares. I just think it is funny when the only thing green for me is CMKM.
I am also holding ARSW, CWIR & UVCL
I do not have much invested and am still trying to learn.
Good help from people here sure make the learning curve easier.

Today - green - red
one week green - red
1 month or longer green - red

Neo, I cannot. It is not that I would not enjoy helping you. It is for that amount of money, I know of no stock which would return a worthwhile profit.
Ten bucks going in, ten bucks going out, this leaves you with $230 to invest and profit. You are asking for a miracle!
The best I can do for you would be EFLT at .022 and sell at .029 tomorrow. This would only net you $70 in profit if you buy ten-thousand shares.
You will need a live feed.
How about taking your wife and kids out for a really nice dinner, or your parents if you are single? This would be a better investment of your money and time, a type of investment with priceless returns.
