dar...

Read this link to fully understand the scope of what is involved. It is the best read I have seen on the subject.

As a footnote, in a previous post last week or earlier this week, people who post on here doubted and yes, bashed, another post which mentioned the homeless being involved in large profile suits. I stayed silent because there was enough drama this week through the boards already. Being an investigator of 17 years and involved in litigation work pertaining to different areas of law, I knew how mistaken their lack of knowledge was. As you can see from the link, it does oocur, for the simpliest reason that there is thus no other bias's involved in the case and the case is heard on it's own merits. Enjoy the read, I learned much from it, and renewed my inner angst at the inefficiencies that must be corrected for us all. Bo http://www.prweb.com/releases/2003/12/prweb92210.php

dar, just a short follow up:

Today was to be the day that naked short selling was prohibited in accordance with the recent SEC ruling. 2 days ago, the effective date of this ruling was changed to April, 1st.

I know the link is a novel...lol, but it covers the full implications of this issue.
Be well, Bo

Bo i READ novels--and i GROK them--OK-and i am starting to work on this one--The first thing i see, Mr. Legal investigator, is that this is released thru the PRWEB--not exactly the most prestigious purveyour of news available--nonetheless FREE SPEECH is a right i cherish and promote. Legal Pros and Prof's don't exactly get my truthstone shining either.
I also note that there is NO journalist taking credit for this article HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMm
Sandra Gabor is the only name here and she is the Exec Dir of the Free and Clear Preess corp---Ph# is not even an 800 #
775-338-5550

i have other work to do right now--more analysis later

Your analysis consists of a listed area code phone number versus an 800 number??

Your kidding right?
If not, trust me, you can save yourself the time doing better things than any follow up you could likely offer.

It's the substance of the article that may help others to understand the issue it discusses. Be well, Bo

G-man, so you're saying that article could possibly be a hoax and that the rule maybe in effect, just an MM's attempt at fooling us over?

Either way the news of the shorting rule and the changing of the date " "...has effected trading thus far today....a very weird market right now.

THE meat--it doesn't smell so bad-- we have all lost some money to the MM's--BUT_-WE NEED them--they should be making good money to handle the transactions we need.
The next few paragraphs are pretty good--they cover basic economic fundamental issues about free market economy--

So my point is this---It's hard to figure out what all the fact are---this Homeless group mentioned is REALLY a VERY WEALTHY LAWYER-- who under the guise of being a helping hand to society--is eating up big chunks of OUR money--and doing it for OUR OWN good---is it real? is it fake?--well i see it kinda like this--
The wife is feeding the dog and she doesn't notice that her diamond ring is slippin off her finger into the dog food----
Dog laps it all up just like always.
Now i have to run around the yard examining all the piles laying about closely for signs of colors and flash. If i don't see it right away--then i have to either give up and call the insurance company-or put on the gloves and start a more thourough serch cuz that ring didn't evaporate--LOL--
DO your DD--it works even when the MM's are also being daytraders which is what has been going on while the SEC was napping.

I've been out more than in this weekend, so really haven't checked the expected reponse since my last post on Friday.

After reading it just now, I have to wonder if many have drawn the same conclusions prior to me posting now. I would bet many did.

My only purpose of providing the link was to provide a good background at the scope of implications of the naked short selling issue. Nothing more, nothing less.

"glassman" responds after my last post by providing 3 links and makes a mention of the Quaker religion?????
He relates the organization in these three links to the Bank Activity Reform Commission?????

If you check the 3 links, could someone please tell me how the Building Advocacy Resources & Community for People with Developmental Disabilities (also with an acronym of BARC) is related in any way, shape, matter or form withe the Bank Activity Reform Commission??

They sound like a great support organization for people with physical and motor challenges in Eastern, Pa. I certainly have never heard of them. As a lifelong resident of Central Pa (4 hours west of the Philadelphia area), I don't know much about eastern Pa only having visited there once in my life. I do know that "glassman" mentions the Quaker religion?? If you look at the links he provides, this philanthropic organization focuses it's outreach in eastern Pa, with 2 of their thrift stores being in Quakertown, Pa and Warminsten, Pa. To my knowledge, these are simply 2 towns near Phily, with no religious affiliation to them. Nor do I. If "glassman", or anyone, can provide how this eastern Pa organization for handicap people and their families is related to the Bank Activity Reform Commission, I'd be glad to read it.

My response to the orginal question of this post was simply to provide a link to the group that shared nice insight to a current issue. I apologize to the board I had to respond to bring light to a credibility issue. I'm done on this one. Enjoy the link.
Be well, Bo
